UK-gaf... would I be better phoning the apple store each day to see if they've restocked or just buy online and hope it gets despatched quicker than the quoted 1-2 weeks? basically, who restocks first, the retail stores or the online store?

I'm going to using my 3G as an AirPlay receiver (jailbroken, installed Air Server) and just put it in a regular ipod speaker dock to make the world's cheapest AirPlay speakers :p

Not there. I don't think they show up on Exchange synced contacts.
How do I copy my exchange contacts to my phone/iCloud?

I must be doing something wrong then. Just getting the messages on one device. I will dig deeper and figure out what I am doing wrong. Thanks.

Her contact page has both her Apple ID and her Cell phone number. Is that what you mean by registered to iMessage?

What colour are the messages she sends/receives? Green or blue? Blue means iMessage, green means SMS. That might help determine what's going on.

I don't know where you bought it from but every company has at least a 14 day return policy. I'm sure you can. Call them (whoever they is).
 
Re-posting this in case anyone missed it.

Shows the difference between HSPA and HSPA+ on AT&T at the same location at the same time.

Also note that a Verizon user who lives down the street did a 2.13Mbit down on their 3g in this area.

You can't, most people who want to thumbnail just use a hosting site that auto-generates thumbnails or has an editor so they can resize the uploaded photos. Cheers :)
 
So for some reason Siri isn't reading my received texts anymore. At first when I received one I could just tell it to read it and it would, now i ask it to read it and I get a pause followed by "do you want to reply or read it again?."
Some people say that previews need to be on for this to work but I never had previews on before and it worked, unless apple patched that server side?
Other than that, living in the future is pretty damn amazing.

So, an odd thing I noticed..

You know how Siri is supposed to start automatically when you place the phone next to your ear? It only works consistently with my left ear, but doesn't always work with my right ear.

Wow, the guy posted side by side pics of his wife's text messages of where she said she was at and the find my friends app actual location. Damn, kid an thought it was just a fake post.

Good on him though, that's one too many lies for no seemingly good reason.
 
Hey, do people have any of those EA games that went on sale? I was tempted by the 99cent deals, but then seeing the Hot Pursuit Demo being completely unplayable (improper 3D rendering with just random textures on screen).

Are the other games just like that?
