Imagine another snarky PS commercial about, "How to play all the best Playstation and Xbox games," then it cuts to someone buying a PS5 and playing Halo and then Spiderman 2 on it.
Do you really want your Dickless tag back? If you are wrong.

Why does this fake statistic keep rising every time somebody posts it?but that has more to do with the fact that something like 80% of next-gen Xbox Series don't even have a drive, so that's not suprising.
I think this is what will happen:
- The xbox brand isn't being discontinued
- But some (if not all) first party content will start shipping on other platforms, after a certain delay, not too different from how Sony treats PC ports these days.
That's meVisual representation of gaf.
I don't think the frenzied masturbotary console warring could hit any greater heights on gaf, but that would give it a good nudgeImagine another snarky PS commercial about, "How to play all the best Playstation and Xbox games," then it cuts to someone buying a PS5 and playing Halo and then Spiderman 2 on it.
I don't think it even needs to be that sophisticated, considering he's just a yes man that gets thrown a script to read, he's more likely to be replaced by Amiga SpeakPhill Spencer is being replaced by ChatGPT
The new Xbox what is coming this year looks like a urn from a crematorium so your not that far ofNew console incoming

Wednesday...Do we even know when this "business event" is happening next week?
When you believe that Sony allowing GamePass on Playstation you are delussional...not gonna happen. MS needs Sony (and Nintendo) to urn money back from the almost 87 billion acquisitions they bought the last years. They bought Activision/ Blizzard on paper for 68 billion but with the closing cost is a whooping 75,4 billion, let that sink in..Also, when Microsoft literally tripped over themselves to give up exclusive rights to Activision's most popular games I knew it was over.
And I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft isn't/wasn't closely watching the way Apple moves with the App Store and the precedent they just set with EU. Where Apple fulfilled their promise to open up iOS to 3rd party app stores...thereby fulflling the letter of the law. BUT....introduced a bunch of rules, restrictions, and fees along with it.
What's to stop Microsoft from explicitly tying future COD games to GamePass architecture and requiring Sony and Nintendo to allow GamePass in order to get COD? Again, that seems like it fulfills the letter of the law of non-exclusivity. And with the the app store wars raging here in the U.S. Something tells me that Sony and Nintendo might soon (5 years) have to open up the doors to 3rd party app stores and a potential full version of GamePass before that COD deal ends in 10 years. Whether they like it or not.
Things are about to heat up.
Selling between 15-20 Million copies across PS and Switch will deffo be the play. At least, for years. When you believe that Sony allowing GamePass on Playstation you are delussional...not gonna happen. Dont know about where Nintendo stands in this but Sony will allow Xbox games on Playstation ( but not GamePass) for a 30/70-20/80 split...thats gonna happen.

The announcement will be a PC case with PC components in it branded (braindead?) as Xbox. The new Xbox is a PC! Xbox lan card, xbox memory, xbox ssd, xbox gpu with a small Jensen Huang looking nvidia demon-midget inside. You havent really specified what you mean, there are loads of outcomes:
Nothing changes
Some XBox games coming to rivals
All XBox games going to rivals
They are going digital only
They have new hardware available soon (digital only Series X)
They have new hardware in a couple of years (start next gen early)
They are getting out of the hardware business
Or any combination of the above
For me personally, I think they'll go digital only, there will be a digital series X and they will release 'some' games on rival consoles.
Edit: so I guess #TeamBelieveSomeOfIt? or #TeamSomeOfItIsBS?
Can't really compare MS to Sony now, can we?I remember when people said the same about Sony during the ps3 era.![]()
No one. is already too much.Be interesting to see who else jumps in to fill the void....Valve maybe?
Wednesday...
Its a joke refering to the meme: "When will MS buy Sega?"..... next wednesdayIs that right? I haven't seen the announcement.
That is also Valentine's Day and Ash Wednesday. Maybe there is some underlying meaning there, but I can't tease it out.
Define going down.I think it's pure bs, lots of haters wishful thinking and fake rumors, Phil will just announce something GP related and that's it we're gonna have a next-gen Xbox.
Wouldn't notice it if he already was. His latest tweet is just another example of something any intern in marketing would be able to write.Phill Spencer is being replaced by ChatGPT
