Well, Japanese games RARELY gets any publicity, advertising or marketing. Not sure if this one will be any different unless Microsoft pays a ton of money for exclusivity and handles it themselves. There are exceptions, but I can't even think of the last Japanese game that was marketed heavily on any system recently. Dynasty Warriors 8, MGS: GZ, BlazBlue: CP and Dark Souls 2 are recent games with little to no publicity to my knowledge. Honestly, I think a game like this is best suited for multiplatform. Being an XBone exclusive is fine since I plan on getting on eventually, but it probably isn't going to sell well. I am hoping it does, but I have my suspicions.

I mean, as long as this game is likely destined to be another "Max Anarchy/Anarchy Reigns" in the making, I don't think there were going to be many pubs willing to take a risk on such a "quirky" title like this. It's probably why the "shopping around" period was as long as it was.

I can't wait for this game to not only be confirmed not to be published by Nintendo, but Last gen only.

The wishful thinking is getting ridiculous.

Im willing to make a bet on it. Not Nintendo, Multiplatform and the only way there are next gen versions is if they are released significantly later than the last gen ones.

Not that I think Nintendo actually went ahead and saved Devi's Third, but I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility for Nintendo to pick this up. After Bayonetta 2, I think Nintendo's capable of picking up any title if they really wanted to.

But thats all this speculation is based on. They saved bayonetta 2, which was a totally different situation for a multitude of reasons.

The game has been announced, it was pretty far into developement when cancelled and Itakagi had to fight tooth and nail to get his IP and code back.

To think that he is going to throw all that away and start a exclusive WiiU version is a bit far fetched.

Actually, the speculation is also based off some hints. First being a new Wii U game being teased months ago, with the hint "you will bleed". The trailer shows emphasis on blood.

It was suppose to be multi-platform, when THQ was the publisher. What happens if Nintendo was the only one willing to publish it? It becomes an exclusive.
