i just came to the realization that there isn't a god damn thing worth watching for at least another month in regards to sports. this is the worst time of year. no basketball, meaningless baseball, no college football and no training camp/pre-season football YET.


i think the nba should start later and end later. they could start in december and end at the end of july. that would be perfect. as it is now, the most exciting thing going down in sports is retarded speculation on who will finish where in the nfl this year (i say retarded because it's impossible to tell at this point).


for gods sake even our fantasy football leagues don't draft until august! i guess the one bright spot is ncaa 2006 is coming out in a couple weeks. but even that's just a videogame... i wish the nfl was around more often

it's not that i hate baseball, but because i don't have a team which i follow rabidly, the effects of a 162 game season diminish my watching ability. it's not unlike february and march for me either, because i can't really get into basketball when it doesn't mean much. i like baseball and basketball come the end of the seasons and playoffs, but other than that...

NFL/College offseason is fucking torture. Golf is more exciting than baseball, and I'm not watching any boring ass golf. Basketball is okay. I watch Jazz games consistently enough, but I can't just be happy watching any team play like I can with football. What does that tell me? Everything besides the NFL really fucking sucks.
