Agreed. Vegeta doesn't need to be nerfed. I don't think anyone in this game needs to be nerfed. Even if I had to make some changes, Vegeta is not even close to the first character that comes to mind.
Is that confirmed or just speculation?

This makes me nervous. No Jojos characters, no buy. I'll also probably skip if we're missing the Hunter x Hunter characters.
Game has been balanced and plays much better than the original release. Characters don't seem to have as many "invencible" frames after being knocked down as before.
Oh, and this won't be getting a Japanese release. Not yet, at least.

╭I can't believe this is coming. My actual interest in the game was minimal but I was on board to buy this day 1 just to reward namco for bringing over such a licensing nightmare.
I then looked at the gameplay saw it didn't look bad, and saw it had a decent looking story mode and now am actually looking forward to playing this.

Little confused by this. If they're definitely making changes but they don't know which one it will be, it makes it sound like they have some freedom to pick who gets the boot. Does that mean multiple characters are under dispute and they can only resolve so many?
I think characters like Taro Yamada and Luckyman would cause the least fuss if dropped, but they're also not likely to be disputed.

That would require extra resources and time, I don't think they plan to develop new characters just for this release. I'll happily eat crow if I'm proven though.
If someone needs to be removed, please let it be Taro Yamada.

i think most of us think that due to Tatsunoko vs capcom being the odd ball in that field. but that game is like this, an exception to the rule, not the norm.

It seems that way, yeah. They've mentioned that there are still "many months" before the planned release date (which, officially, is just a broad "2015" for now), so they may end up resolving some of the issues.

Well, it's been 9 months since its original release and it won't release until summer 2015. Why would they need that much time, anyway? Nonetheless, I'm not sure how hard it may be to port a game to a better console, nor if they spend that time getting those license approvals, but it neither of those are the case, I bet they've been working on new things - besides Arcade Mode.
