Final tally for the game:

Jordan: 46 points (guarded by two first-team defenders in Rodman and Dumars), 7 reb, 5 assists, 5 steals


17 points in the last 4:00 of the 4th including the game winner. Held Isiah Thomas to just 5 points and 6 assists for the game; Hubie Brown and the other commentator kept remarking about what a phenomenal job Jordan did on Thomas, keeping him out of the lane and shutting him down off the dribble. 'Tis a glorious day-- even if this day is just a rehash of a day that happened 15 years ago. ;) :p

But then my GF started insinuating that I didn't want to waste my time etc, like they lost and that she was bored because she knew what happens and that I wouldn't want to watch.

Awwe man it was a good game. Lots of ugly, but close. I'm sure Comcast will replay it like 5 times. You have to see the Martin dunk and pass.

Since San Diego basketball fans are now in the dark with respect to
goings-on in the NBA, could someone please tell me how in the world
Jordan is piling up such outrageous stats? All I've seen is box
scores and the occaisional slam-dunk highlight on ESPN, but I don't
even know, for instance, if he's playing point guard, shooting guard,
mostly around the basket, scoring on outside jumpers, or what. From
the few highlights I've seen, it seems he has carte blanche to go
wherever on the court he feels. But what's he got that makes him
special? I don't remember him having a particularly good outside
shot at UNC, and there are plenty of 6'6" players who can jump in
the NBA.

Holy shit! Everyone be sure to check out the Raps/Magic hilights. They had better show this play....The sickest reverse I have ever seen was just thrown up by Mo Pete. Craziest shot I've ever seeen, insane.

what, besides the above, have you posted in this thread that consists of actual nba conversation? pages are full of nothing but old pictures and unfunny captions. that shit is fucking old.

jinx needs to come in here and set forth some picture rules again.

uh, all one needs to do is simply fire up the search engine to disprove that myth. i've posted more htan just "another sonics win," as you'll find. unfortunately, as ned, myself, and others have stated, it gets lost in the sea of pictures, lakers, and kobe talk.
