There's apparently no room for the remotest bit of pessimism at the moment either, as the Paul worshipers are out in full force - it's such a great thing! Exposure! More content for all! WWE are a nice, cuddly, benevolent company who want to see the scene grow! Just $9.99!

Sure, this whole thing's pretty crazy and exciting, but I'll remain cynical until proven otherwise, if it's all the same.
What you don't want 20 hours of New content a week?

That's funny, I think Nintendo Haters are a lot markier for their own hatred of a great company.

  • Gives you only one old-ass game for only a month as your incentive for paying for their online service
  • Matchmaking and voice chat done exclusively through a cellphone app
  • Charges $70 for a goddamned controller
  • Charges $40 for a minigame collection that would have been a pack-in in any reasonable reality
  • Makes a system so weak it's first version of FIFA is a Legacy Edition
  • Makes a portable system with a battery life shorter than a Transformers movie
  • Hell, they made a dedicated handheld in 2017 despite the fact that Japan is the only region that still gives a fuck about them. And then they stuck a TV dock and $300 price tag on it to make people think it's a console.
  • Speaking of which, they priced their system with no games on par with much more powerful systems that not only do have games included but also have much deeper libraries
  • Biggest launch title is cross-gen.
  • After coming off of a system infamous for droughts, they announce a software lineup that only has 3 worthwhile titles in their new system's launch year.
  • After so much talk of unifying all their developers on one system, they reveal they'll still be supporting their last-gen handheld long into the new system's lifetime.
  • Continually teasing hardcore fans about installments of long-dormant franchises only to either never deliver or completely fuck up their return
  • Constantly shoving game-breaking gimmicks into what would be otherwise fine games just to make them "different."
  • The most tone-deaf marketing in the industry today, which is saying something when Gearbox just opened that Battleporn subreddit.
  • And the list goes on...

But please, tell me how they're some great company and I'm the "mark" for hating them...

yeah but mario and zelda why do you hate Nintendo wtf

I buy Nintendo consoles to play Nintendo games and don't care about online for those games. Wii U was a fantastic console. I got my PC/PS4/Xbone for multiplat or online.

Well the fact that you put that much effort into making a pretty subjective list about how terrible they are is a start.

I can't even look at this. What the hell? You know Vince wrote this all himself. XD

The game is 20 bucks, you mark.

And they released a dedicated handheld?

And what the hell is a gamebreaking gimmick while we are at it...

Why is there is much hate for MS on the gaming side? I really need to stop going to that part of the forum.

  • Introduced the evils of payed online to the world
  • Ended ages of Japanese dominance in both hardware and software by making a system that appealed to Western PC developers, leading to the modern age of shootbang and shitty open world games.
  • "Stole" Rare and turned them into a sweatshop for making avatar clothes
  • Released TWO systems that nearly caught on fire and never really faced the consequences for either.
  • "Stole" FFXIII
  • Pushed a glorified webcam on a level that was arguably more embarrassing than Nintendo's 2008 E3 conference, up to the point of making it mandatory for their next system
  • Tried to sell the Xbox One as a set-top box in the age of SmartTVs and cheap media pucks.
  • Pushed Always Online DRM, only acquiescing when Sony decided not to follow suit and proceeded to eat them alive in preorders.
  • Give your personal info to the NSA
  • Cancelled a Platinum game (which really should make them heroes since Platinum is trash)

Well the fact that you put that much effort into making a pretty subjective list about how terrible they are is a start.

I fail to see how most of that shit is anything but terrible to all but the most blind.

I buy Nintendo consoles to play Nintendo games and don't care about online for those games. Wii U was a fantastic console. I got my PC/PS4/Xbone for multiplat or online.

Most people don't have the cash for more than system. They'd rather just buy one console a gen and hold on to it until it's time to upgrade.

Bigger bust: Cody's indie career or the Switch?

I'm not gonna lie, I loved Cody Rhodes in WWE and did feel like he was being misused, but the reviews I've seen of his indie career make me feel like Triple H was right about him.

I fail to see how most of that shit is anything but terrible to all but the most blind.

Because I disagree with half of it and completely understand the other half.

I'm a Nintendo fan and I've gone from looking forward to the Switch with money put aside for a pre-order, to thinking I'll hold off on it. They've gone from hitting the peak with the initial reveal to really shitting the bed.

I mean, fuck, a Pro Controller costs the same as two games. That is absolutely not reasonable.

Nintendo is the new top heel buddy.

Nintendo always attracted a bit more heat than others around here. Just look at the tags by Dragonsworne and Pie and Beans.

So this video on youtube got taken down and edited after a few minutes. [url]https://youtu.be/sv8cj4wUqWk

They deleted it then reposted it with Seth and Gallows and Anderson's part edited out with saying Omega 🤔

Is that Miz? He looks... whatever is happening it doesn't do him any favours

Hasn't Omega made a billion comments about how he will never go to WWE? And is determined to be one of the best wrestlers to never wrestle there?

I think I even remember an interview with him calling out people who go there because it's an easier paycheck (I could be wrong).

I want them to do another gimmick battle royal one day. The NJPW Rumbles are funny as hell and I'd like seeing WWE do something like that.

Someone in this page called Platinun Games trash

Holy shit, that's worse than watching Raw and Impact Wrestling Presented by Anthem every week

I'll never forget you Chris

Folks, there's absolutely nothing negative about TNA's deal with Discovery. Yes, they'll be airing on Destination America, which is available to less homes than SpikeTV but the beauty of this deal is in the details that are still to be announced. As Dixie Carter said, this is not a deal for TNA's two-hour weekly program. It's much bigger than that and it involves, from what we understand, additional programming and availability in more international markets. Only someone who's not looking out for TNA's best interests can look at this evidence and spin it as a bad thing. This sounds like a fantastic deal with Discovery and one that gives the company every opportunity to grow, something Spike wasn't willing to do.

What did Mecca have to say about the new deal, as well as Dixie getting the boot?

I didn't pay attention to the former but assume they still think TNA will outlive us all

As for Dixie they decided she was the real problem all along, didn't admit they were wrong for constantly sticking up for her, and waved bye
