Does anyone remember an old Colosseum Home Video tape that had a Rumble Royale (with cheese)? I think it was a regular battle royal, but it could have possibly been a Rumble style. I imagine it was before the Rumble was locked down as a concept/show. It was probably on one of the WWF's Most Unusual Matches type of comp. I would guess it was probably a 1986-1987 release.


Finishing sequence to the 6 man tag was hot shit.

Someone should really tell Stephanie what WWE's ratings are, because she seems a bit confused. I am pretty confident this Raw was not even in the ballpark of the most watched Raw ever.

Not only that, someone should tell her she's awful at trying to weave in advertising. That was embarrassingly bad. I'm surprised she didn't give the price and start date on it.

They no longer need to book anything competently because they're leveraging their past to hook a bunch of fish who remember how great wrestling used to be (i.e. the WWE Network).

You can expect shit booking to build PPVs to be the norm going forward.
Hell, they'll have even more focus on RAW than ever before because they'll at least be chasing ratings on basic cable with USA or wherever they wind up.
I love how even garbage jobber matches have commercial breaks now. Must be absolute torture for anyone watching in the live audience.

For the life of me, I still can't understand why there are so many jobber entrances on 3 hour Raws. Even alleged top stars get them. And most of the time there isn't even a good reason, just a commercial break. Entrances have always been a big part of wrestling/boxing/MMA.

Seeing a RAW live is weird. Last one I went to, they had Kharma come out, then she just stood in the dark during the commercials in the middle of the ring.

Then I thought "okay, at some point, they're going to hit her music again so you hear it with the cameras come back"..

nope, the music fades in live in the arena too. wtf

Bryan was only cleared before Raw yesterday, they didn't have any segment on the show scheduled for him so they had to come up with something on the fly, which is when writing is (naturally) at its worst.

All I'm saying is there's really no reason to be upset about how Bryan was booked tonight.

That was the weirdest part to me. The music also fades out when something gets shown on the Tron during an entrance, then fades back in when the clips is over. Also weird was Shield triple powerbombing Show on the app, then standing in their pose for a good 2 minutes waiting for the show to come back, without their music playing or anything happened. Just them standing in the same spot doing their pose for 2 full minutes. Then the show came back and they stayed in the same position while what happened on the app was shown on the Titan Tron, THEN they were finally shown posing to the TV audience. I don't get why they couldn't have done the powerbomb and got into position for the pose 10 seconds before they came back on air instead of do it the entire commercial break.

Something about Batista's face looks off. Like he had botox or something. Maybe it's the lack of any facial hair. Or maybe his eyebrows are lighter than they used to be.

If you think this creative team will actually book storylines when Paige and Emma show up even though they can't be arsed to do it now is rather, well, naive.

Don't expect anything, assume the worst.

Their grand idea to introduce Emma is to show her in the crowd, do her dance one-armed and hold up an #Emmataining sign while Jerry Lawler makes crappy jokes on commentary. Think about that.

I'm thinking AJ, Paige, Emma and some of the not-shit workers they have now like Naomi should just say "fuck it", open a YouTube channel and film promo's and empty-arena matches and just book their own pre-show that way.

I'm sure they can get Regal and Renee Young to do commentary.
