Best RR with Flair entering first and finishing LAST for the WIN!
He didn't enter first.
Best RR with Flair entering first and finishing LAST for the WIN!
Indeed, the logical build up where Kane goes to both avenge Taker's loss against Brock and get his Wrestlemania moment will create tearful joyous memories that will last a lifetime, he then retires as WWE champ leaving it vacant for a tournament or something.
Best RR with Flair entering first and finishing LAST for the WIN!
Anyone have any suggestions on what the best Rumble is so I can get in the mood?
Only if he brought back the old mask.
Wait until you watch the full match before judging. His kicks at the start of the match look pretty weak.
Also, looks like he may have changed his moveset a biiiit...no missile drop kick, but a crooss body off the top instead. and no. Suicide dive (I know he did it on Raw), but a kick through the ropes instead.
...at least in this match.

Kane only needs one elimination to break away from Shawn as top eliminator.
Chances that it's Bryan?

Hah, this is only about half an hours drive away, should I go?

They need to at least tease Kane eliminating Bryan big time, just imagine how engaged the people will be in that moment ready to fire off their rage only for sweet relief when Bryan turns the tables, that's high drama right there.
Then he gets eliminated by Reigns anyway, maximum rage.
I think the issue wasn't so much with the moves he was doing, but with the frequency he was doing them - WWE's cornball signature sequence in-ring style basically put all his highspots in a minute's worth of action which, while exciting, obviously did him no favours in terms of wear & tear. It sounds like he's going to pick and choose his spots better, thankfully. I personally would like to see more of submission specialist Bryan return, but that's rarely a trait used for faces.
So as such, it needs to evolve. Being able to sit at home for the last 8 months and watch the product, and I see things where theres too much of this, or theres not enough this, and heres what I can bring to the table thats different, and more exciting for the fans. So yes, my style will be changing. Will it be any easier on my neck? I have no idea (laughs). Yeah, my style will be changing, but its not necessarily going to be physically easier.
Are you saying you don't like the modern mask that greatly emphasises his big ol' snorting nose in a goofy looking fashion?
what do you mean by "maximum rage"? Reigns is obviously the uncontested fan favorite DAMNIT!
Man the old mask and pyro was so bad ass.
You knew whenever he was coming out everyone was gonna get fucked up.
Now he is a tinfoil hat wearing libertarian.
How foolish of me to have forgotten, curse my Donkey Dung brain.
Now when he comes out you know he's gonna get fucked up, what a change over a decade makes.
Unless we're talking about Cena, there's no change in that decade.
Here was when it turned...

Look how hot this crowd is compared to the Cena babies
Chances of the Triple Threat going on last this year?
I can breathe easy for the first time in a month. My mom has polyps around her uterus. Today, just found they're benign.
Sorry if I've been extra grouchy recently. It's been weighing on my mind heavy.
Nothing says AMERICA like Kane, Booker T and Goldust.
I remember reading about 2006? I think it was. Headlined by... Angle vs Henry. But that was when Taker returned and destroyed the ring, so pretty understandable.I hope so. There have been a few years when the championship match closed the show and it's fucking awkward as hell. Always end with the rumble. We need the point. We need crazy pyro. We need some god damn confetti.
How is the Avatar Rumble proceeding?
It's almost time, you know. Are you going to chicken out and go back to a THQ failure game, Vinny Mac? Or are you going to give the Yes Movement what they really want and simulate it in an all time classic like No Mercy?
I don't steal games, so this could be tough to make happen in No Marcie.
I don't know what I'll do.

Flair, 1992. The OSW Review on it is great and Flair cuts one of the best promos ever right after. Worth watching the run up to it as well with how Flair left NWA/WCW and took the NWA belt with him, claiming himself as the real world Champion in WWF, only to win the Rumble in 1992 giving him the recently vacated WWF belt and then pretty much shit over every other promotion in the world.
I never thought that highly of Flair until that Rumble and that Promo.
The Rumble match itself is excellent, with a great dramatic storyline between Hogan, Flair, Sid Justice, and plenty of others. Plus, the aftermath of the event was great, as a prime example of the WWF trying to re-write fans reactions by dubbing over the sound of the original finish so that fans would boo Sid and cheer Hogan, which isn't what happened. I think 1992 was also the first rumble that carried stipulations with it. Prior to that, it was just a match and if you won, good on you.

Here's Flair's promo if you want to watch:

Jesus christ, what a promo. Oddly, Vince is said to have not liked this promo. Even though it builds up the WWF as the best promotion and the one with the only championship that mattered, the way Vince was marketing the WWF at the time they didn't even recognize the existence of other promotions... So anybody who didn't pay attention would have just assumed Flair was spouting some crazy talk. But, to people who followed the industry at the time, it was a revelation of a promo. IMO, this promo built the WWF for the next 5 years transitioning into the New Class.
Looks like the '92 RR is my first classic PPV on the Network then.
Cheers guys.
i never saw the 92 Rumble, maybe i should check it out
why was the WWF title vacated?
