Video starts up and Vince is looking off camera for his mark.

Don't even care enough to edit.

He needs to stop wearing these stupid two-tone ties.

Legitshook.com PRESENTS

007 Casino Royale (2006)

This movie is DOPE. Holy shit. Sure, it doesn't have Q or gadgets or Moneypenny. But it is fucking RAD. Stylish as shit, excellent action, great portrayal of Bond by Craig. This is probably best "movie movie" of the series. Most definitely recommend it. But fuck those last 20 minutes. They felt so out of place and tacked on. I would have ended the movie right after the torture scene or something. Also, FUCK THAT TORTURE SCENE. God damn. Just the worst. 2painful4me.

Awesome work as always stro, keep the reviews coming and I'll keep reading em!

You should do the Marvel movies next :)

QoS is basically a 2 hour epilogue to CR that just gave more questions than answers, but with shittier action and forgettable villain.

Spot on. It had it's moments, the actors were great but the material was pretty bad. Bit of a shit show and yeah, the action direction is a muddled mess. Makes me sad to see such expensive action framed/edited so badly :(

Little Bad Booty Daddy-to-be Frecklesteiner's first NJPW notes:

-JR and Striker
weren't as bad as I was expecting. Striker was definitely the worst between the two. Jim telling Striker " I have no idea what 'swerve means', but he did fool us all" was great. Striker is too much of a smark to commentate. "I'm markin' out bro!" you can tell killed JR inside. Otherwise, Striker was alright when it came to explaining stuff, as I had no fucking clue what was going on.
-Kenny Omega
was my highlight of the night. Favorite performer, I want to see more, dude is the shit. Great look, fantastic in-ring, awesome character
-Taguchi
is amazing. I love his look, he reminds me of Eddie and Rock Lee

-Togi
is rad as hell, Ishii was great as well. That is how you book two people to look like absolute monsters
-Young Bucks
were the best part of the tag match. I want to see more. I see the hype behind them

-Still hate AJ. Style clash is such a stupid looking move

-Karl Anderson
reminds JR of Arn Anderson, and I could hear Stro convulse somewhere in the world. Luke Gallows also looked like the third Ascension member.
-
I didn't particularly care for the main two title matches.
Nakamura
is alright I guess. I had a lot of hype built up because he gets talked about a lot. His character and mannerisms are great, the match was soso. The guy he was wrestling was great, loved the finish. The fact that he was crying really helped sell me on the fact that the IC title in Japan truly DOES mean something
- TAWNAHAWSHI
is fucking stupid. Stupid air guitar shit. Stupid cross body. Okada is shit as well. Lame clothesline, drop kick? really? it was just not a match I was interested in. Didn't like either guy.
All in all. It was certainly leagues better than anything you see in WWE. I take it these guys perform at this insane rate and this well all the time, rather than pulling out all the stops for the biggest show of the year. They give you damn good reason to tune in, rather than "LOL WE GOT YO MONEY ENJOY YOUR SHIT SHOW". I wish I had a means of subscribing to the NJPWNetwork, I'd love to check out more and I'm definitely down to watch more Live events in the future. Even if I did have to stay up from 2-6AM. I had a ton of fun.

Striker would be great if he dropped the smark shit, dude is great on play by play and knows his shit. Just has to stop worrying about playing to the internet crowd. JR got over by being passionate about the product, Striker just has to relax a bit.

your thoughts on the co-main event is the exact opposite of everyone else. I am honestly kinda in shock lol.

Isn't playing to the internet crowd what did Russo in?

Like I said, it was my first event and I guess I just don't really care about them at all. I was just more impressed by stuff that happened earlier in the night as well.

Frecklestein just jumped the shark, please note the timestamp for future reference.

Noted.

Opinion on the Nakamura match is just plain wrong.

I'm looking forward to Total Divas tonight, I'm sure it'll deliver more than those two matches did.

I give props to JR/Striker for doing as well as they did considering it's a new promotion and a foreign country where it's fucking 2 AM for them normally.

Double props to JR for being super cranky old JR who's seen everything and hasn't done wrestling commentary in years, but still did his goddamn homework and clearly cared. He was slower on the names because he didn't want to fuck up anything, but holy shit I was digging him when he got the good singles matches

I also came away very impressed by
Kenny Omega
. Honestly, he should swap spots on the billing with that goober AJ Styles, whom I have no knowledge or attachment to and am left wondering "why?"

You guys are giving Striker too much shit. There were like 4 bad sentences the guy uttered in a 4 hour show. It's really not that bad.

I would be surprised if that NJPW show on AXS doesn't prove that they should've ponied up the paper for Mauro, and I don't even like Mauro.

The first evet I watched wwe after a 5 or 7 year break was WM 26. The commentary was abysmal. The commentators were freaking out over the foreign objects the Harts were beating McMahon with, and Lawler had to remind them it was a no holds barred match.

Other notable moments were the commentators saying Jericho and Edge are like brothers because they lift weights together and have ridden in the same bus.

Wasn't Striker on commentary that night?

What the fuck. Please tell me JR really didn't compare Karl Eggerson to TMF. Fuck. Also, wtf. You have terrible taste. I thought we were BFFs. How could you hate the final two matches? How are you not into Okada, Tanahashi, or Nakamura, but you're into Taguchi and the Young Bucks? You can STICK IT, brother. You piece of shit.

He didn't really say KA reminded him of AA. KA just did quick covers at one point and JR said it was AA like. They were drawing comparisons for everything he wasn't actually saying Karl Anderson is Arn Anderson in 2015.

He said straight up that Karl Anderson reminded him of Arn Anderson when he was coming out.

Also every big man in New Japan wants to be Bruiser Brody according to JR and Striker.

I think he said they have the same body type. Probably because their last name is the same as well and he was just looking for something to relate it to. Tanahashi is just boring. I liked Nakamura. I just don't think the match was all that. The jury is still out with Okada, but my only time seeing their matches were at like five in the fucking morning, I have no idea why they're fighting and the show ends with "I'm markin' out bro!" and air guitar.

Taguchi is fun and if he's shit, then Omega did a great job of helping me not notice he was. Young Bucks are great. Apologies for having better taste than all of you

I'm sure they only said that Togi was Bruiser Brody like. I never heard Brody being brought up outside that match.

Nak/Ibushi was incredible. Just wonderful. You're a dumb dumb. Okada and Tanahashi are literally two of the best dudes in the world.

It's OK, everyone. I'm about to watch the event. Then I will give the final word when it's over so you can all know the proper way to feel. You're welcome in advance.

Taguchi sucks. Omega kind of sucks, too. I never saw anything in him and he should stick to goofy ass comedy shit. Everything about the juniors sucks right now, tag and single.

Look at this bargain bin WrestleMania XXX HHH shit.

Ibushi adopted the NJPW style and was full srs mode for his match. Where as Omega was doing his dumbass shaved hair spot

That's like stupid 80's shit that people would've loved. When striker was teaching me that Omega shaves his arms four days before events, I thought it was genius. Rev that chainsaw, I'm markin' out bro

TAWNAHAWSHI gets a few FnP points for asking a ring boy to pass him his air guitar, but on the whole my first impression is that he's straight corn. I'd draft Funky Weapon ahead of him, friends.

You know what it says about you when you like the wrestler who calls his fucking finishing move 'one winged angel'?

Says you own a Vita and a lot of 1000 year old demon games.
