From my view Jim Ross was pretty aimless and never really any semblance of stride until the later singles matches. To be fair, a lot of the early matches were spot fests with no slow down and would've had a small stroke trying to do pbp.

Matt Striker did his part to paint the picture for the uninformed viewer, but the smark was just way too much for me to handle. Jim Ross trying to keep him in check was pretty entertaining though, especially the "...what's a swerve?" moment. Not that it stopped Striker from closing the show with "Marking out bro." Guh.

Well, I actually enjoyed a MMA fight friends. I don't know what's happening but it was good even if I barely got what was happening.

I also watched the opener for Wrestle Kingdom 9 and JR and Striker on commentary really soured me on it. They didn't build any excitement for the match and, while I understand the need to, they spent way too much time giving context to the match instead of calling it.

I'll probably see a little more of the event but I'm not sold as of yet.

Watch the last few matches. JR gets better once the singles start happening. Especially good in the Suzuki fight.

Does anybody know where I can find the New Japan tour dates they announced last night? They don't seem to be on their website yet. I'm going to Japan but might rearrange my trip so I can catch the Super Jrs tournament.

Edit: nevermind, it looks like the fight network has them.

As a seasoned viewer of men punching each other in the head for money, I'd say new MMA viewers got a rotten deal last night. The good news is if you actually enjoyed it, it only goes uphill from there.

Check out Conor McGregor vs. Dennis Siver on the 18th for an MMA guy who can work the mic and bring the #BigFightFeel.

Going to skip the tag matches then. I prefer singles matches anyway.

I only watched the main-event and the build really helped.

I'll watch it then. Does it have a promo before? I'm also watching Lesnar vs Carwin right now.

youtube.com/ufc usually gives decent preview material in the week leading up to a fight.

There's really not a whole lot to that fight, though. It's pretty much universally agreed that it's a favorable squash opponent for McGregor to set him up for a title shot in an 80,000 seat stadium in Ireland. They've already booked a date in May. He's entertaining as hell, though.

NJPW's juniors division is so god damn anemic. And ReDragon looked completely bland, ROH tag team #238. So did Timesplitters, really.

But seriously, your junior division is as anorexic as Taguchi.

Eh I like Timesplitters. This wasn't their best match but they are generally great. Also thought the opening was a fun spot fest. The ROH guys though were bland. They really did not stand out during the whole thing.

Just finished the WK9 main event . holy, shot might be the best match they have had which is saying something.

Okada selling the, loss,at the end was a nice touch

JR's call,was great as well

That Connor video was great.

That's how you do an irish gimmick.

Pretty much. I really wish they would just outsource Dragon Gate for Jr. talent. They have a decent working relationship so why not?

Nakamura match just started. This guy is just pure Magic in the ring. I'm captivated just by his mannerisms. My favorite wrestler right now, no doubt.

007 Casino Royale (2006)

This movie is DOPE. Holy shit. Sure, it doesn't have Q or gadgets or Moneypenny. But it is fucking RAD. Stylish as shit, excellent action, great portrayal of Bond by Craig. This is probably best "movie movie" of the series. Most definitely recommend it. But fuck those last 20 minutes. They felt so out of place and tacked on. I would have ended the movie right after the torture scene or something. Also, FUCK THAT TORTURE SCENE. God damn. Just the worst. 2painful4me.

Man the Redragons did really nothing during there match. They basically showed up at the final 2-3 minutes and that was it. The other 10 minutes they were just in the background.

Yeah don't remeber anything from them except for the finish. All the cool stuff was done by the other teams. Hell Forever Hooligans looked better than Raddragon in this match.

QoS is basically a 2 hour epilogue to CR that just gave more questions than answers, but with shittier action and forgettable villain.

This Nakamura Ibushi match is great so far. Ibushi also with lots of mocking. Guy is showing lots of character here.

It aped the Bourne series pretty hard, hell it even had some Bay esque shots during car chases

It tried but failed. It showed that the director had zero action experience. Opening scene alone is enough to show that. You can barely follow who is who with that action scene involving two black cars.

It just felt like the director was in over his head. Like he saw all the art house indie directors getting big budget projects and went "Hey, I wanna do that too!...*12 months later* oh fuck...oh fuck....no...NO!!! OH SHIT! FUUUUUUUUUUUCK!"

Apparently he fucked up World War Z pretty bad too.

Our UK friends can experience the joy of watching Miz act like he watched wrestling growing up during WWE Countdown.

Also didn't they delay the previous UK launch because they wanted to do some cable deal instead? Looks like that fell through huh?

Aiii

So not worth it
I love how everyone pays 9.99 dollars, no matter where they live, except for the UK and Ireland lol.
