Literally all I remember of Heidenreich is his weird feud with Cole

...I will never forget this, because it happened while watching Smackdown with the family. Awkward as hell and I am an awkward guy.

It's HHH Prime right there. It's like all the legends he always talk about growing up loving and learning from flowed through him for that one match, and it was fantastic.

Pretty much, all the great pacing and logic in the match was unlike most of his "big matches" of the past number of years where he would just brawl then start hitting finishers for 15 minutes.
Even the set-up for the tiger suplex was perfect, where he transitioned from the chickenwing to it, it made total logical sense in the match and wasn't there just to do a big move.

I don't think I could watch that with anyone, much less my family.

You know if this whole Bryan/Lesnar thing isn't happening, I believe a Sheamus feud would be actually kinda interesting. Harken back to the 18 second loss helping Bryan more than Sheamus and that haunts him and all that jazz. I just want them to steal the show of that ever comes to fruition.

Still want Lesnar tho.

But Sheamus is so beneath Bryan for a Mania match at this point. Lesnar, Cena, Rollins, Ziggler, Rusev and even Bray are all way better picks. There's absolutely nothing for Bryan to give a shit about, it would all be Sheamus saying you stole my thunder while Bryan just twiddles his thumbs.

One of these names is not like the others. One of these names doesn't belong.

Yo Rafa, when life gets you down, watch Renee Young's Hall of Fame coverage and look at her coverage. By gawd.

The heat Sheamus gets for costing Bryan the Rumble match is exactly the spark Sheamus needs to have something to give a shit about. Dude's talented as fuck.

I'm not necessarily a part of the #PushZiggy movement, but him and Bryan are fantastic together.

So are Bryan and Sheamus.

Ziggler's push started and died right after Survivor Series and if people are saying the WWE inner circle types knew about Bryan's return weeks ago, that explains why Ziggler hasn't gone anywhere since. Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler are basically the same archetype, and you're not gonna have two main event faces who are the 'underdog, scrappy wrestler' type

Ziggler hasn't lost clean on television in forever. It's seriously been months. I don't think the push is dead.

Of course, now he'll drop the IC title to Barrett on Monday

Exactly. Ziggler is pretty much fucked, so he might as well turn heel since they're in dire need of some. Or they could keep Ziggler face and have him feud with Sheamus.

I'm obviously biased as fuck, but I just don't see the point in wasting their hottest babyface coming off a huge comeback and redemption story on Sheamus, even if I know they can have a great match.

Ziggler can not be a main event heel without a manager. Shit, he couldn't be a mid card heel without a manager.

We already have an arrogant athletic main event heel who has a teenager's voice

I'm trying to keep an open mind here and see how Bryan ending Mania again with the titles can be a bit redundant. It didn't stop Austin though. I'd LOVE for it to happen but I can sort of understand why it can't. Also bear in mind his body can get injured again as champion

*knocks on every wooden furniture in my entire house*

And if anyone's a B+ player in the WWE, it's Ziggler. Sorry.

It doesn't matter if it's redundant if it's exactly what the crowd wants that night. They could at least not book him against Kane on the next PPV and that'll fix 90% of his title reign last year.

D-Bry yessing after every promo is redundant but the people eat it up, and to that point I agree with Toki. I think people want to see him get a proper reign, one not marred in Kane feuds and the like.

A proper title reign, not one WWE thinks they were "forced" into and just want to rush through to get to their "real" title reigns (how about that amazing Lesnar reign?).

No god damn Kane. They've got endless guys Bryan could face, and PPVs no longer rely on buys so you can bring guys from the upper card.

Bryan vs Rollins
Bryan vs Bray
Bryan vs Sheamus
Bryan vs Orton (one more time)
Bryan vs Cena II

Is that really that hard? That's 5-6 PPVs right there, all different programs.

Mmhmmm.

Tis a shame Cesaro is in such a lowly position now. It'd be nice to rehab him in time for a Bryan feud this year.

The Original plan if Bryan didn't get injured was this:

May: Kane
June: Kane
July: Orton probably
Aug: Loses to Lesnar
Sept: Lesnar again

So he would of gotten a 4 month title reign with two of those defenses against Kane.

Seth is such a great bratty heel. His annoying ass voice and grating laugh. The fact that his "heavies" are two short nerds who act bigger than they actually are. Like I said in the last thread, J&J don't even SPEAK and they're small bodyguards instead of giants helping out a smaller boss. It's pretty great and unique.

I think the moment J&J became a permanent fixture is when I became a believer in Seth. Dude's got it all.

What's to stop them making this year "Bryan's year" and keep building Reigns up in the upper card in the meantime, so that he's ready (or someone else is) for the big Rumble and Mania win in 2016. Have Reigns beat Rusev and have a second from the top US title reign or something, if you must have your swat gear nancyboy pushed.

I'm just some guy on a message board, it can't be that hard to look at this stuff in a global corporation.

Yes, as in the Observer, it was planned to be long enough to not be fluke, but not long enough to be a dynasty. A "get it out of the fans system" thing, as though the fans would be ready to "follow their lead" or whatever by Summerslam.

The Dungeon of Doom angle would have been better remembered if Hogan hit the log drop on The Master.

God damn I hated that loud mouth fatass
