Japan meet up - part 2

I am going to be in Tokyo for the whole month of September. My housing and airfare is being paid for by someone else. That said, how much should i expect to spend on basic necessities (food & transportation) per day/week? I'm talking decent food and nothing too glamorous...
Any tips? I have a couple grand that I have allotted for this trip. Is that enought?

XS+ : I'm not going to be in Shibuya until this afternoon - probably around 6ish as long as work is quiet.
PLAN is as usual folks : Shibuya, meet by Hachiko. We'll be there from 6:30 until 6:45.
Looks like we'll go to the Hub or somewhere similar.

okay -
You will be arriving into Shibuya on the Yamanote line.
You want to exit via the "HACHIKO Exit"
this will bring you out into a big square which is usually full of people, you'll be able to see the big tv screens and what have you.
Coming out of the Hachiko exit , the screen should be on your right
basically , the dog statue (hachiko) is in the top left corner from where you'll be standing.
easy to spot as there will be loads of people standing around it taking photos or waiting for people.
If all else fails , give me a ring.

I got my phone turned on too, so I'll give you that number, although e-mail/GAF is probably the best way to keep in contact, since I'm usually not in my room.The PS2 is working great, although I am getting some issues with the capture card. I'm just glad it works. This girl is moving out and left her TV here, but if I take it, I'm going to be responsible for it when I leave, and I don't feel like getting fined, so I'll bear with the capture card for now...

Hey everyone. I just got to Tokyo a month ago and am going to be studying abroad here at ICU for the next four months. I'm not quite sure how this works, do you guys just meet up at arranged times or something. Anyway, my AIM sn is davidchiu21.

I'm just here for the summer and a semester to study Japanese.
That was fun tonight. Happy birthday to you Black Ace; I should have went to da cluuuub with you, since getting home wouldn't have mattered-- the local line shuts down at 12. :\ So I was left at Ikebukuro, and started walking to see if I could find a hotel, as I had only a little cash on me and couldn't afford a cab, until I spotted one that took credit cards(!). It cost 3300 yen, but I was glad to get back.
Let me know about the next meet up...I'll be there!

i'm so glad i left early to play in that game at 9am the next morning - not really.
it was, unbeknownst to me, my strike partners birthday the previous night - and he did exactly what Blackace was trying to get me to do - he took his football strip out with him and came straight from Roppongi.
Needless to say he wasn't much use.
Add to this the fact that our goalkeeper had some sort of car accident and had to report to police and the inevitable defeat came.

OKay guys, I'll be arriving at Narita around 6 PM monday the 16th, and I'm leaving at 7 pm on the 28th. So anyone out there that wants to get togethor at some point give me a PM before this coming saturday with some kind of contact info and I'll try to get in touch with you while I'm over there. I think it'd be cool to meet up with you guys in japan of all places but even if it doesn't happen I'm prety sure I'll keep myself entertained.
