Get em while they're hot

Wish I had time to go through these. Lots of it is CIA communications to do with Cuba and nothing to do with the assassination but it is a fascinating look into the CIA operations during their heyday.
Think some Cubans are gonna find out that their grandpa was actually a secret spy.

Can someone give me the document number of the one that says Lyndon B Johnson masterminded the whole thing?

It happened 61 years ago. Whoever was behind it is already dead and buried.
the individuals might be long gone, but the reasons he was killed could implicate agencies/countries that benefited from his death still.
And the sons of the individuals who are long gone might not look too good. like if they became governors or presidents, for example.

.it is good to know when the intelligence agency in your country helped commit a coup to kill a duly elected president.

The first document that i opened there were 2 versions. One redacted and another with the sensitive info in plain sight.
We may see new info in old, already "declassified" documents.

Just for the record it's maybe interesting to note that JFK was a narcissistic sociopath with serious health issues that was repeatedly cheating on his wife.

Reading through the files it appears some guy named Lee Harvey Oswald shot him.
I once worked with a guy, a good ole southern boy who had used guns. He said he went to the Texas School book depository museum, took one look out that window and told us he thought "Of course Oswald did it." Apparently it's not much of a shot.

~80 yards, car moving at 11mph, clear view, 4x scoped rifle, and Oswald had qualified as a sharpshooter in the Marines. All very doable.

His wife orchestrated his assassination in part as a mercy killing to end his suffering from his health issues and as revenge for his infidelity and sociopathic tendencies?

I think you're on to something here.

Turns out, this is more or less historically accurate!

Perplexity team did an initial pass, doesn't seem like any bombshells turned up. Key records were destroyed.

Man, it's a shame they were destroyed but who knows if they show who was really behind it.

My money is it was funded by the big bankers.

I always wait for the 4chan autists to rummage through it all.

I am more interested in the glimpse into the inner workings of the CIA at the time - like the setting up of a CIA cover while a recruited agent was being trained. Or the detailed descriptions of how all the Cuban informants interconnected.

There is something cool about badly photocopied typewriter written sheets with hand written notes for spy stuff.
Makes me sad to think that modern leaks are just text file dumps.

But was he a lone wolf or the extended arm of something bigger?
