This is the first im hearing about a Glick movie. must suck as too (see: revieW)

Personally, i loved the show, but wtf @ movie?

Yeah Martin Short was on Conan the other night and it was a very awkward show because Martin Short was being a total prick and kept trying to outdo Conan (which wouldn't have been so bad except for the fact that it seemed very malicious)

Same thing happened with Dennis Miller on Jon Stewart. The guy might as well have done stand up. It was basically him telling jokes in semi-conversational form.

I hate Martin Short so much. Jiminy Glick is barely better, and I really hope this movie bombs.

Ughgh Im not a big DM fan so I could already imagine... But yeah Short was even insulting him and just being a total prick.....I lost what little respect i had for him. Props to Conan for not dropping down to his level.


Conan: You do great characters

Short: YOU do great characters

(awkward pause)

Conan: Ok lets go to a clip

Short: You handled that so well, how long have you been doing this a year?

(no laughter)

Conan: I've been doing this for 40 Years

Short was insulting Conan? :lol Man, you just don't do that on his show - ever. The audience will never go for it, funny or not.

I happened to catch him on both Letterman and Stewart last week. He was actually really funny and respectful. No idea why he'd be a jerk to Conan.

I liked the show (at least, the final interview segments), but the movie seems pretty shitty.

the interviews were probably the only good parts of the entire show.

Haha, the interview with Conan was gold. I like how Conan kept saying, "that ends now" after Short started doing an impression or the Jimminy Glick voice. I mentioned to my friend in the very beginning how it appeared Short really detested Conan, and as the interview wore on, Short's assholery only proved my assumtpion.
