Johnny Depp Vs Amber Heard Defamation trial live

I feel dirty saying this, but she doesn't know how to lie.

To me the biggest tells are all these forced attempts to "get on the level" with the jury. Dotting her claims with little "y'know?", "Right??" "You would think so...no?"
Super fake lol.

Although, I guess that's just one small part of all the embellishing she is doing.

Made a crappy phPBB forum once ... once.
Why is there no objection hearsay when she says 'asleep in his trailer sleeping off whatever he did the night before'

You just need to realize, for Johnny to win he needs a unanimous decision which means all 7 needs to rule in his favor.

Jurors are insulated, if they follow the rules. They can’t watch or read about the trial. They don’t get all the commentary like us viewers do. They can only rule on what they see in court.

When I was a Juror, it was hard to remember all that was presented and said, thankfully we were given note pads after first day. But I’m not sure if that is allowed in this trial.

It really does come to Jury selection and The closing augments are huge too. Both sides agreed on theses Jurors.

The trial I was part of, in closing arguments the prosecutors highlighted some key evidence that a lot of us Jurors missed. Which helped jog our memories.

This will be a long trial, who knows how these Jurors will rule. But the system is not broken if their ruling is what we perceived wrong.

Edit: Defamation is a tough case to win. But I hope Johnny Depp wins!
Even if you don't watch or read about the trial. You can obviously easily read through that awful acting and inconsistent badly written story telling. I bet even her family, friends and the legal team don't buy it. ANYONE watching the trail like myself can see it. I've never heard of her name before and I don't know who Johnny is aside from his movies and I am not an American or have knowledge of their previous case and not even know about their marriage and I didn't even engage in the discussion here at first and by the end of the first week you get a clear idea of both of their personalities.

embellishing is the word Ive been trying to think of, thank you! Everytime she talks, a weird part of me is like "Dude... STOP TALKING, any faint bit of believability you had goes out the window the more you speak".

How her lawyer didn't tell her "get on the stand, answer questions as short as possible, and stop and wait for the next question."

I mean I don't know how the jury selection process work other than it is random from registered voters and if she can fool only ONE by that horrible acting is enough for the case.

So the first time he hit her it was a slap in her face and her reaction was..... laughing? And she is saying that moment changed her life??

"I didn't know what to do" Well, fucking leave? You admit that he escape arguments and lock himself in rooms so why not fucking leave. This is fucking ridiculous to watch.

Of all the things she said, that was probably the "most" believable, as we see countless people (men and women) stay in bad relationships. Its always easy to say "just leave!" but never in any relationship have I had, or any one I known have, has it been easy to just leave someone (at least until a certain breaking point). Relationships and the feelings of love make your mind do stupid, stupid things.

I'm not saying she's telling the truth, all I'm saying is its easy to think "just leave", its a lot harder when you are actually in a long term relationship with history, fiscal connections, "love", and a fully connected life. If you ever have any friends stuck in such a situation, telling them "just fucking leave" isn't the right way to help them, if you really want to help them you have to help them build new foundations independent of the relationship that they will feel they can find their independence in. Its hard.

I know but this is not a case of someone actually hurt. She is the abusive in the relationship as the dude would rather lock himself than deal with her and had been in a relationship for 12 years before which he never raise his hand on his previous wife. it is obviously an awfully written and acted script. "heart broken" because of 3 slaps that "didn't hurt" and breath on the glass.. I mean people with seriously bad relation who can't actually leave even if they wanted out of fear but this women ridiculously telling this fairytail.

"Johnny is different on drugs" Well, many already testified than his behavior actually didn't change whether he was drinking or on drugs so that's a lie.

Good news is, I read somewhere that Amber is going to be crossed by the lovely Camille instead of that guy:

Hope she's got what it takes.
Part of me thinks Johnny hired all these beautiful and smart women to throw Amber off her game. Considering she's said to be a narcissist and wants to be the prettiest girl in the room.

This is tough to watch.

Depp waking up in the middle of the night screaming and yelling? This is due to alcohol?

Does anyone believe any of this?

Depp's lawyer isn't here for any of this, lmao.

Edit: "johnny wanted to have sex a lot...which isn't like him" - his face, lmao. even if he's looking down he's just pissed.

Starting to watch it! From the beginning. She’s trying to damage everyone’s “reputation”. First the kids, then her assistant… for someone who knows what is like to be in a public eye she sure lacks empathy.

Also lol at Johnny plastic bottle with yellow liquid next to him ahaha

This can't be true.

I refuse to believe this level of idiocy
I did some googling and apparently she has quoted a bunch of dialogues from a bunch of different movies and tv shows.

I remember hearing her say the "level of pressure can break your wrist" yesterday.

Apparently that's a line from True Detective. Just watched the scene.

Dr. Curry was right.

Why? Why the fuck his lawyer told her to do that?? It is a high risk zero gain strategy.

Does she think that quoting a fucking movie is gonna give her sympathy points?

I don't think her lawyers are in on the joke. She's clearly writing/plagiarizing the script and lying to her lawyers about it. There has been ton of times her lawyers were incorrect a bunch of times.

Well it sounds like they haven't trained her well on what she can and can not say. I mean, given all the evidence, can you imagine what the lawyers are dealing with behind the scenes? They probably have to tip-toe around her, while trying to correct her. And they are probably also having to question her on hella stuff, to which she'll likely be super pissed and reactionary about.

Tbf the lawyers were trash tier and a literal joke since the trial started.

It's a match made in hell.

I’ll try to explain the Jury selection process. Citizens around the city receives a letter selected randomly. For my city there was a morning/afternoon Jury call date. We were split up in groups of 30.

They gave out questionnaires. Personal questions like marital status, children, Education etc.

Then we go in court room told us our duty as a juror and what the case would be. Then there was random selection of 12 called to the Jury box seats.

Then both lawyers of defense/plaintiffs asked each of prospective jurors questions. Questions are usually try to find a fair unbiased juror or ones that they think will lean their side. So it’s important that lawyers to read the prospect Jurors leanings.

This also the time for the Juror to say if there are any reasons they can’t commit. Like medical reasons or you are breadwinner and can’t afford to miss work. Taking care of child or can’t miss school.

The question and dismissal of prospective jurors for me took 3 days but we were already a 2nd fresh group of 30. But by end of Jury selection 90 prospect jurors were interviewed.

After a prospective juror was dismissed, each lawyer would asked the same questions over from the beginning. It got so monotonous that the Jurors that both defense/plaintiff agreed upon were sent to next room.

Since I was one of the first picked our group just sat and do nothing for 2 days waiting for them to finish. So 3.5 days and 90 prospects to get 12 Jurors and 2 alternate Jurors.

Every time we are out of court room, we were not allowed to discuss the case. Even tho it was tempting I didn’t and didn’t see anyone else’s talking about it. Even during lunch Jurors and any relegated to case would try to avoid each other.

Johnny's lawyer seems to bored listening to her lies. Like zero interest. And she's again trying to squeeze out those tears while telling the airplane tale. I wonder where are all the passenger stories and photos and instagram vids about the incident because, as she is saying, people were watching and no one was doing anything?

The objection game is strong.

Johnny howling in the toilet. He must be really dangerous. Embarrassing, sure.

ll her witnesses are either dead mom/dad, Jerry Judge and Rum Diary director? Witness she tries to talk thru are getting hearsay objections, because they aren’t going to be at court room to corroborate her testimonies. If that’s not egregious enough she trying to bring Johnny’s kids who she knows aren’t there. Which Johnny is trying not to put in court.

Pretty scummy!! 😩 😡

Edit: Keep those objections coming Camille, she looked to be already prepared to cross Amber Heard.
