I was suprised he made up all that shit before and during E3 and was never kicked off, but in hindsight that proved to have benefits. If he was kicked off then, we would've been deprived of today's comedy.

I guess I just don't understand this troll, as Nintendo is clearly dominant in the handheld side of video games and has been since, oh, 1989.
 
Well I must say I'm sort of disappointed, though, I will still wait to see the games, because for all we know, they will look the same as Xbox 360(heh). Anway, if this thing is $100 or $150, I can see it selling TONS just for the backwards compatibility alone.

I almost hope this does force Nintendo to show their cards early, because I want to see what they're doing. I can see this talk being a lot of negative PR, which could easily be diffused by showing us something good with that...that...controller thing.

Aaa well, I still think it will be a nice, small efficient system that can definitely sit by my PS3 and Xbox 360 with pride.

Just let that dream/joke/wishful thought go right now. Doing so will spare you more disappointment.

Although I suppose Rev games could look on par with Gun for 360.

I totally agree. It'll complement either console.

But I feel sorry for the Nintendo only gamers out there. Y'know, the type that think that F-Zero is the best racer ever, Smash Bros is the best fighter ever, etc.

Well to be fair it's still pretty obvious that no 3rd parties have seen final official Rev hardware just a list of design specifications to develop towards which admittedly are as underwhelming as they are vague. It would be nice to get some final hardware specs and chip-set features and more so be able to see some games running on it before we crucify Johnny. One thing is for sure though I don't care how much power the Rev is saving by being non-hd it will not be approaching PS3 level visuals on any level.
 
The GameCube -> Revolution transition reminds me of the Xbox J. Allard -> 360 J Allard one.

5 Years ago:
J Allard was fatter and had a hard time keeping up with everyone else.
GameCube was considerably wider and had a hard time keeping up with the competition.

Now:
J Allard worked out, got way skinny, and engages in extreme sports like mountain biking
GameCube has slimmed down, gotten a bit stronger, and engages in freestyle gaming with its remote control.

this is what i was hoping for. GAF has some of the best photoshop talent around.
