They usually ship pretty close to or on the date its released in Japan. I got EMS shipping for this because they offered a small discount and even with that costly shipping it ended up costing the same as Play-Asia without the quick stuff lol.

P-A's prices for JoJo's have bounced up and down, and if you've bought games from Ami-Ami enough it's probably not hard to guess the shipping cost (I could look at receipts and guess the price for a JoJo's super action figure, for example).
I spent a lot of time looking at where to buy and finally decided that all the available options (p-a, a-a, Amazon + Tenso) were going to fall in the same ballpark. And since I had a coupon & wanted it day 1, I went P-A.

Well, some characters themselves and how they are represented are spoilers already, so I'd say it's mostly fair game but it should be GB or a mod's call.

I'd like to get this game, but the only non-SSB fighting game that I've ever liked is Divekick so this seems like a pricy gamble for me. I'll wait for you guys to post your impressions here before I make up my mind.
Same here. After slogging through Vento Aureo*, I had lost all steam going into Stone Ocean. Although, I'm pretty sure SBR isn't related to parts II-VI at all, so you can skip to it if you'd like. But you're probably like me and want to read all of the parts in order anyway.
*I hated most of the stands and I didn't care much for many of the characters either.

Yes, you can order Japanese PSN cards from sites like Play-Asia. Maybe you'll even have some money left to buy some DLC characters.
Be warned that Japanese PSN card prices are pretty expensive though.
