Baby Face is batshit crazy. The Vento Aureo anime (fingers crossed) will probably have people scratching their heads from pretty early on, but Baby Face is going to baffle the hell out of the anime-only crowd.
It specifically looks like when Tusk opens up the barrier. The arrows are Tusk's hands, in this case.
I'd say just keep it to the primary cast. Jotaro, Josuke Okuyasu and Koichi are probably enough. Maybe Rohan, but I don't know.ugh

It probably is being saved for episode 3 for air-time's sake. (That's the only way they might be able to get through Jotaro meets Josuke and Angelo in 2 episodes) The OP CD's track listings makes me think there's an ending music arrangement of the OP song, though, which is being dual-arranged by a guy who does a bunch of jazz arrangements and then the guy who did the Witch Hunter Robin and s-CRY-ed OPs is also doing some work on that version.
Viz just announced that we are indeed getting the JoJoniums for Part 3 in the US.
I've been getting each volume so far and I gotta say that I'm really pleased with how they've been handling these releases. Hopefully they'll continue bringing the series over after they finish putting out all of Part 3.

I already own all 16 (?) volumes of the part 3 manga and I'm so buying these releases day 1. The hardback releases have been top notch quality and I can't wait to get some color pages! HYPE

It was so much fun re-reading the Baby Face fight. I forgot just how insane Giorno's one-upmanship is there. Oh you removed chunks from my body? Damn I read that a year and a half ago and already don't remember much of it. I should re-read it.
The new translation is moving at a good pace so it's easy to read along with it now. They're at the first chapter of the White Album fight which is easily one of the best in the entire series.

So I did a mock rendition of splitting the chapters into episodes and ended up at 43 episodes total. So maybe with some of the stuff paced up, they could nail down 39 episodes for the entirety. Depends if they nailed down any hour long blocks, too, or how many times they have the ED playing over a lead-in to the next episode.

I'd argue that SBR was a lot better than Part 6 which has the weakest beginning of all the stand parts imo. The tail end of Part 6 has some of the most insane stands in the series and I love that stretch of Junji Itou style body horror stands that Araki went on but most of the fights where Jolyne is facing random prisoners are super forgettable.

I wasn't expecting that opening scene. And the nod to the radio tower was a nice touch.
You can see Yukako close to the left of Rohan, too. And Okuyasu's in the background behind Hazamada, you can see the lines on his face. His brother is also visible during that scene, too.

Hazamada being short makes me wonder if DP are keeping in the shrinking?
I was wondering how far in the first episode would go, and where they ultimately did manage to get was pretty decent in for the beginning.
but I guess that'd also have required them rushing/cutting the hell out of a few other things.

Do we have predictions to where the season will end? I think when Kira changes his face would be dramatic, but it's probably too far in to make the seasons even out.

It's probably a little hard to guess the pacing right now. This episode was pretty much just covered the first chapter and about a page into the second, but I also imagine future episodes are probably going to cover more ground.

I liked the expression Josuke had in the manga much better when the kids clowned on his hair. He had a much dumber / funnier smirk on his face and the anime had a simpler stern expression. Not the same.
That's about the only complaint I have and I'll be the first to admit that's nitpicky. Everything else was pretty cool. Excellent use of color and all the voice actors seem look a good fit thus far.
