[Not true] Joycon 2 has same internal quality and build as Joycon 1.

Yeah it's looking like all they did was add Lube, NOT JOKING!

Looks like we will get free repairs again

I really hope that 8bitdo finally decides to make Joycon alternatives. I already hoped for them to release some for Switch 1.

either way, the first hall effect or TMR replacement joycons, with ergonomic handles, can't come fast enough.

He said that you could understand it by reading his offtopic post, his post about him dealing with it?
People are only on edge cause you are trying to be edgy and funny while forgetting how to read, but hey atleast you arent uncool like those purple lamers amirite bros?
I'll be edgy for a joke, it is worth that.
I badly read his post and did not understand he was refering to his off topic posts. My bad.
As usual, relaity is far less funny than what i made of it... I'll recover.
But you seriously saying people are on edge on switch 2 threads because of my antics and calling anyone else edgy with an username like that, this might be too much bad faith and cringe for me. If i die it will be on you lethal n°1
No, but i did read his own words about Alcohol Related Brain Damage that he's suffering from

My bad i read the post wrong and went straight for something i found funny. Thanks for telling me without the condescending tone 🙏

I find it hard to believe that Nintendo would lack the brain power to put themselves in a position where they spend a fuck ton of money having to repair/replace Joycons after what happened with the Switch. I'd assume that they would make enough changes to the controller to help prevent drift as much as possible. Time will tell I guess.
How much did they really spend? I haven't had mine repaired I just bought another set. These things are now 95 for a set or something. The margins are high and probably cover a massive class action suit if needed.

Keep in mind how long it took for them to even own up to this issue. If the % of obvious fails was decreased and the time to fail was increased by a band aid to the design they could dramatically reduce the chances of ever having to pay for it. So they didn't need to prevent drift, they just needed to suppress it.

It's all nothing serious - apart from the extreme edge fanboys - I just like to keep things humorous ( Check my post history ). I wouldn't feel bad about it as you didn't know - We all tend to scan things quickly these days

Feel sorry for the fella as it really shows how quickly things can degenerate.

So.

A) Not true
B) Joy-con drift was resolved starting with the Skyward Sword Joy-Con (summer 2021) and onward when Nintendo modified their process to eliminate it as much as possible.

A)If the pictures posted are true, than these are the same sticks - you are just looking at them from different angles and can't form a 3d model in your head (shame btw).

B) They never fixed anything, the use the same sticks across all switch models.

🤦‍♂️. They made other changes within the Joy-Con internally that help mitigate the risk of drift from happening. Obviously the actual sticks themselves are the same.
