Hey, not to worry, at least AJ makes a solid point:

Okay, the match still ended with a suprise roll-up and they had to include a couple of guys as well, but they did get to do more then two moves this time.

So lets call it a win.

Except her storyline revolves around which guy she wants to be her boyfriend. It's not like WWE is breaking down gender barriers really.

So, uhh.

Reading back on this thread during Raw.....

The New Zealand broadcast of Raw today missed out A WHOLE CHUNK of crap it seems, the TV froze up during Cena celebrating and didn't come back properly until the main event. :\

So I missed the f**king GM reveal and Heath Slater etc, as pathetic as the anon GM thing turned out it sounds (OMG UGH :| whhhhhhhy?) it would have been funny because me and my GF had just been watching the Best of Raw/Smackdown 2011 Blu Ray YESTERDAY and I went on a bitch fest about the anon GM and how it f**king went no where and how stupid the WWE is with this stuff lol, only for it to be bought up months later randomly on the current show. :O

Now, here's where it gets weird. When Raw f**ked up the screen froze during Cena celebration pose and then they cut to a commercial, then it went back to frozen Cena then commercial then back to frozen Cena glitching out hahaha. Did this several times it was odd.

Then things came back properly and BIG JOHNNY CAME OUT OF NO WHERE and started hitting Cena with a chair, Cena no sold and AA him out of the ring.

RANDOM ATTACK IS RANDOM

Was this something for the live audience we got on TV mistakenly or did everyone's Raw have it? lol.

I'm almost leaning towards the Soulplaya POV. Kane should win MitB and AJ should bring him out at the end of the show to cash in and win the belt from Bryan.

Then we can have Bryan vs Kane and we can fast-forward through all the Cena/Punk stuff.
Welcome to the winning team!!!

We also have Superstars instead of wrestlers, it's just a name. As long as the status is elevated the title doesn't really matter.

It isn't just a name. It's pathetic, is what it is.

The day the Womens title comes back is the day WWE gives a shit about womens wrestling again.

But do you think less of TNA's women's division because they call them Knockouts?

Watching some old WCW when """" """""" won the WCW title.

How did they handle it when he quit the next night?

Did the just pretend he never won the title or was that when the WCW reboot happened?

I cant seem to find anything about the followup to Benoit winning the title.

Must have been some fun TV trying to explain why your new champ quit with the belt.

These writers suck.
It falls on Vince, no matter what. Especially for Raw.

Have you ever noticed WWE only calls what they do wrestling in a sarcastic way?

You have guys saying "I'm a pro wrestler" in such a manner that I expect a wink at the camera, and last night Michael Cole appealing to wrestling fans and King making the comment that his pleas fell on deaf ears. At this point I think WWE is no longer even sports entertainment, they're entertainment that happens to be based on wrestling.
I think John Cena's character and what he does in the ring, or during promos, the epitome of what's wrong with it. The awfully bland, no emotion -- I mean, it gives off that vibe that none of it is real. Obviously none of it is, but it's suppose to be his job to sell the product. Make us buy into the show and story. He does none of that for me.

I think they declared it an illegal victory and gave it back to the guy he beat, or they declared it vacant. The reboot happened when Sid was champion, I believe.

Imagine being Cena though, for more then 7 years his character has been a smiley faced, cap wearing know-it-all that only gets to smile and cut the lamest promos in the world in order to appeal to women and children.

If that doesn't turn you into the most cynical bastard ever out of the ring, I don't know what will.

Oddly enough "selling" or shilling the product is half of what he does. His explanation of the MITB last night sounded like the back cover of a WWE DVD, or remember his endless rambling promo about the Hell In The Cell last year that amounted to "It's on next Sunday. Order now!".

I'm shocked he hasn't just demanded some major changes in his storylines or character, for a long time now, in his matches and his promos, he always looks completely bored and uninterested. It's part of why he fails to sell any story he's in, it's like he doesn't even pay attention to what he is doing anymore, he's just on autopilot.

People need to realize that RAW isn't a wrestling show or an entertainment show. It's a commercial. That's it. The point of the show is to show off shirts, toys (like toy belts. . . .), movies, DVD's, sponsor ads. That's the point. It's just a vehicle for those purposes. Their concern isn't showing off a good quality wrestling entertainment product, but how they can convince people to buy crap.

That anonymous GM thing was terrible. That could have been story line gold. Instead they chose to waste it on the dumbest, stupidest, and lackluster direction possible.

Vince resents wrestling as a product and wrestling fans as a whole.
Whenever something worthwhile in a wrestling vein happens in the WWE, it's because Vince has "lowered himself" to appeasing wrestling fans.
This ultimately takes away from the product he actually wants to provide on TV each week.
Namely a travelling soap opera circus with clowns and John Cena saving the day that doubles as an advertising vehicle to shill tacky merchandise.

Smackdown spoilers:

The Big Show tells Ryder that he's doing a sucky job as GM. Ryder makes a match between Big Show and The Great Khali for tonight. Khali does the fist pump.

Ryback defeated Tyler Reks.

It's not that these things are hard to predict, but the first circumstance and the second match were predicted exactly on our latest podcast, as we theorized what Smackdown would be like with Ryder as GM and who Ryback would face next.

It's like the WWE hate my thoughts. I said I wanted anon Raw GM back. They brought it back, made it create Teddy Long style tag team matches all night and made it turn out to be Hornswaggle, who I fucking hate. They took something I was indifferent to liked and made it into pure shit.

They even took the fucking AJ-Punk-Bryan storyline way too fucking far. It really needs to end at MitB.

Re: WCW thing.

It was a big mess but mainly because they made it more of a crapo than they had to haha, the belt was already vacated then Benoit won it and he's like AGGH I'M SO HAPPY then oh wait hes gone to WWE.

So its vacated again, Nash who was the GM or whatever at the time told Sid he had to beat some jobbers then Nash himself for the title and then he did.

Then Nash is like nar that didn't count you gotta fight me again so he did and won that as well so after a million different loops and twirls Sid was the proper champion.......

Then they rebooted everything and he had to give it up lol.

I know that segment has been after the dark main event as recently as 2 weeks ago, but there wouldn't have been a dark main event last night because they taped Smackdown right after Raw

Cena has storylines?

Thats so strange, because of how random it was, and it was over in a couple of seconds I was like uhh was that supposed to be 'just for the live audience'? For a bit there I was like oh wow something interesting/surprising is happening!

I knew I shouldn't have thought silly thoughts like that.

How it ended up on the NZ TV feed I'll never know lol.

Still pretty convinced that the vote was rigged and the actual outcome was NO though.

The stipulation for MitB with AJ as a ref was legit, as when I voted for it the poll was 72% in favor of AJ being referee before they hid the results, but this one had to be rigged. No chance in hell people wanted to see that, even the little jimmies on the internet.

If this is gonna be the norm for the new interactive Raw, then good on them, that'll be a success...

Wait, you're really going to stop watching the WWE?

I said I'd stop watching WWE until the Royal Rumble when Cena would be the one to defeat Punk for his title. But Hornswoggle as the Ano. GM. brought me damn close.

Also TNA being this awesome helps too

Yeah. I think I've watched RAW once in the past month and a half. PPVs have actually been very fun but I'm done.

Can't stomach it any more but that's just me. You guys seem to be having fun so People Power etc.

I completely understand.

Now, I want this moment remembered. People don't post as much anymore, not because of some AJ/You know who posts, but because the product has turned them away.

The product has been alot worse during periods over the past 20 years. That didn't stop me watching, so this won't either.

Entirely possible it was a bit for the live audience during commercial, I haven't seen any reports today mentioning off air stuff though

For example a lot of the time they'll do "show us your signs" type stuff during commercials, or have a heel cut a promo (entrance music is not playing the whole time during commercial)

Or just have HHH pedigree someone for no reason

The entire time from 2006 on has been pretty bad. Smackdown had its moments from time to time, and the last time an overall show was beginning to end was above average was in 2009 (Smackdown).

Pretty mental turn of events there.

At least NOSAWA was right when he told the police they got the Rongai.
Holy shit, this joke is amazing. I hate puns but this was goddamn genius

Also, i dont think aries fought shelley for control of GenNext. They just kicked him out. Shame theres no GN vs Embassy matches on there. That was a great feud
