So not worth it
Doubt it will come to that. The network will either never happen or they will abandon it long before they're out of business.

I don't think the issue is the length of a reign though. I mean if a month is too short and people were already complaining about Punk's reign like five month's in then I guess the perfect reign would be like 3 months?

I don't think there's a concrete number. Obviously a lot of it has to do with the wrestler and contenders. I just think everyone's been deprived of that feeling you get with championships are labile and switch a lot. I'm watching because of the blossoming mid-carders that have absolutely nothing to do with the championship. And D. Brine, but if he loses against Punk, he'll end up with the former.

*NOAH poster*

Really looking forward to this - on paper, it's the best NOAH card I've seen in ages;

NOAH "GREAT VOYAGE 2012 IN RYOGOKU", 22.07.2012
Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan

1. von Erich Brothers Japanese Debut Match: Ross von Erich & Marshall von Erich vs. TMDK (Mikey Nicholls & Shane Haste)
2. Starting Point Revolution ~ Classmates Confrontation: Taiji Ishimori vs. Masa Takanashi
3. Special Singles Match: Mohammed Yone vs. Yoshiaki Fujiwara
4. Special Singles Match: Maybach Taniguchi vs. TAJIRI
5. GHC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Title: Kotaro Suzuki & Atsushi Aoki (c) vs. Ricky Marvin & Super Crazy
6. GHC Jr. Heavyweight Title: Yoshinobu Kanemaru (c) vs. Christopher Daniels
7. KENTA Return Match: KENTA vs. Naomichi Marufuji
8. GHC Tag Team Title: Jun Akiyama & Akitoshi Saito (c) vs. Samoa Joe & Magnus
9. GHC Heavyweight Title: Takeshi Morishima (c) vs. Go Shiozaki

Plus, they have yet to announce Kota Ibushi's match on the card, and there's a noticeable lack of Katsuhiko Nakajima - Ibushi vs Nakajima, or Ibushi & Omega vs Nakajima & Kensuke, holy shit.

lol @ them acting like going through a table is very serious thing on smackdown.

damn, they are whoring out AJ for chubbies

I literally just got done watching this promo, and I was going to post the same thing. Normally I like WWE promos, but after they fell through the table, the music became eerie, and the video got foggy, I couldn't help but roll my eyes. Give me a break.

Especially Bryan, who didn't fall from any height, just back off his feet. Sure Punk fell on him, but half of Punk's moveset would do as much "damage".

Lol, watching the ECW NWA Title Tournament from 1994 - Dean Malenko introduces himself to the fans with a dull as ditch water taped promo that goes on seemingly forever, and in the end they just cut to Scorpio's promo while Malenko is in mid-sentence. I would guess this is when Paul E. realised that it's pointless giving Dean a mic.

Lol, who could forget.

Gargano to WWE?

It was reported yesterday that Johnny Gargano may be leaving Dragon Gate USA.

It now appears that he may be leaving DGUSA to join the WWE. Gargano wrestled a tryout match for the company earlier this year and WWE wants to sign him to a developmental deal.

He is the reigning Freedom Gate champion and will defend the title against Akira Tozawa at the DGUSA show in Michigan on July 27. He is expected to be gone from the promotion at the end of the month so it is likely that he will drop the belt to Tozawa.

WWE is trying to sign several wrestlers from the promotion, including Gargano, Sami Callihan and Brodie Lee, who is already signed and in FCW as Luke Harper.

I approve. Even if for a cup of coffee on the main roster. Seeing these guys make the big money even for that is just great for them.

He would fit in great for the lightweight division if they do end up doing one (Bourne, Kidd, Sin Cara, Hunico, etc).

Bootaaay, you watch any of the Cleveland wrestling org that Gargano was in before? It was called Pro Wrestling Ohio. It had a big, monster like guy there when I watch shortly before I moved named Bane, I believe.

Wow that's fucked up.

Don't hold your breath. Sandow will never be in the main event.*

*I reserve the right to deny this statement is by some miracle he makes it to the main event. Meaning Raw. Live. On Mondays.

I'd pay to see a promo between him and John Cena in the ring, ending with Cena calling Sandow a loser in a Jim Carey voice.

And then Cena asks Sandow why he's walking to the ring in a bathrobe like he just left an all-men's sauna *wink* looking hot and bothered. *cenation guffaws*

Sandow trashing Cena's clothes, his fans, his smirk, yes, it would be amazing.

I'd like to see Cena try and call Sandow's ring attire "gay" without actually saying gay and offending anyone.

I'm sure Cena could find a way. Like that whole song and dance CM Punk had to do before calling John Laurinaitis a bitch.

And then Cena asks Sandow why he's walking to the ring in a bathrobe like he just left an all-men's sauna *wink* looking hot and bothered. *cenation guffaws*
Then he can attempt to make one of his insider jokes that don't work because the kids have no idea what he's talking about and those that do don't dare cheer him.
"He's not even Damien Sandow he's just some jobber called Idol Stevens"

"MORE LIKE DAMIEN SANDBAG"

*OBSCURE REFERENCE THAT THE 9 YEAR OLD AUDIENCE WON'T GET*

*MORE SANDOW LIKES MEN JOKES*

*YELLING LOUDLY ABOUT DETERMINATION*

There's Cena's whole promo. Every time.

"He's not even Damien Sandow he's just some jobber called Idol Stevens"

"Plus I saw him with a thesaurus in the back. The guy doesn't even know those words that he's using! Meanwhile, I'm too busy to expand my vocabulary because I'm fighting in the middle of that ring EVERY SINGLE NIGHT FOR YOU, THE WWE UNIVERSE™"

Cena's had amazing promos this year, who can forget such classics as...
"NOBODY REMEMBERS SECOND PLACE! THAT'S WHY I CAN'T LOSE!
and
"WHAT HAPPENED?! ARRRGH!"

Remember when Cena called out Rock's wrist notes and some people here took Cena's side and therefore fell right into WWE's trap? classic.

No, but there's LEGIT heat between them, dood. Cena's SHOOTING, and The Rock IS ANGRY. Cena has been making GOOD POINTS, and The Rock SUCKS NOW.
