As much as I liked that segment on Monday, the fact that they ended the segment with the Total Divas music is hilariously sad.
For casual fans who don't have any idea who these women are, Steph making a big deal out of them legitimizes them to a much greater extent than if it was just Paige bringing them out.

How about Sasha comes out with the title and they all do cool shit in the ring to get over? Maybe show some packages of their NXT matches? I'm not sure how Steph gets anybody over because she's meant to be heel and the focus is on her shaking up the division rather than the "divas". How long has it been since Steph did something overtly heelish other than by association? The division has been nothing for far too long to just be turned around by new people coming in. You have to make it clear that there is a shift happening. As much as people try to argue otherwise, ratings go up in segments involving Steph and Hunter. Her being involved may not have been 100% necessary, but it sure as hell wasn't a problem.
I'll believe it when I see it.
I expect the camerawork to view this as sexual content rather than an athletic event.

Steph is supposed to be a monster heel though. Why would she care about any of hte stuff she was spouting off about in her speech? Why would she care about equality? Masked Man and Rosenberg podcast had it pretty nailed down that Steph in character woudl probably want to keep the other women down if anything. It just felt like she broke character just to publicly pat herself on the back.
