Did I hear that someone just reached the era of Ice Cold Mike The Miz Mizanin?!

Certainly better than Luke-warm Paul The Big Show Wight

Who's watching anything for TJP?

Whose even watching him?
I work on m and t now, so I watch on USA live streaming.
I only pull the tab up when something interesting is on, and I assure you that he is not something that qualifies.
He had more personality under the mask in TNA. And that was about 0

How to fix 205 Live :

Make it it's own thing. 205 Live is the only place to see cruiser-weight action.

Do not piggyback 205 Live tapings with main roster tapings.

Build a hot feud, run with it and build a new network event around it.

Make 205 live a destination for amazing matches and compelling stories using CW talents.

Profit.

Not pictured also is 205 Live, which airs live on the Network and has only been Top 20 in the most viewed products on the Network one week in the last month

Also not mentioned and perhaps the most worrying TV number for the WWE: Dave in this week's Observer mentioned the total sub number for USA only down 1 million subscribers. Which means cord cutting isn't causing the huge dropoff in ratings. Which reiterates my point from yesterday: for a vast, overwhelming majority of people, when they bail on WWE, they just bail. They don't go elsewhere, and they don't just go Network-exclusive.

Not really that surprising when you think about it. For non-fan examples see Best AJ Lee, Punk, Batista, Barrett. WWE is very good at making lifelong fans (even those who are actual goddamn wrestlers) move on from the whole industry in record time.

Is one of the weird Vince McMahon Commentary Rules that dudes have to say "did you see/hear that?!" every match?

Does Dave get the top 20 stuff from the most popular link on the network? Cause if he does as of friday 205 is number 4

edit: Also in that top 20 people are still watching wrestlemania 31, 32 and 33.

205 Live will never succeed because WWE doesn't get how to book cruiserweight matches, lucha libre matches, or anything resembling a fast-paced style. You watch fucking Kendrick vs Tozawa and tell me if it even resembles anything involving Psychosis, Rey in his prime, Eddie, Juvie, etc.

You got an HGH hook-up, since WWE doesn't necessarily text for HGH?

The manager looks like Warlord so probably

well ignoring the match quality itself, the characters are just boring. the cruiserweights looked like super heroes and super villains

90% of the 205 roster are a bunch of dean malenkos. and dean malenko was special because he was the iceman in the world of comic book characters of dancing skeletons, dragons, lizardmen, whatever the fuck super calos were, etc

I think that problem would be solved if they separate it from the main product. You're right, the current WWE booking staff knows nothing about CW matches, but they could hire someone to book these guys who does. That would only happen if they are removed from Raw and Smackdown, till then they will share the same agents.

it doesnt even resemble the CWC much less the old CW stuff.

I should rewatch the CWC btw.

One of the Biggest problems with 205 live is that it is the Six hour of wreslting that is only on the network. Like what sane person would want to watch not only raw, and Smackdown and then 205 live?

Hey, Cody Rhodes just brought back the classic IC belt. That's good. His promo -- specifically his delivery -- was bad, though. He doesn't have much charisma, but I actually like him alright. I don't think he's as CAW-y as you guys say. Ted DiBiase is more generic-looking. That bore needs to retire.

I just don't think the CWC style is really compatible with the rest of the main roster stuff.
