That Steph/Hunter quote about not thinking Guardians would do any good is fucking ridiculous in hindsight. In context it makes a little sense since NOBODY knew Guardians was going to do as well as it did, but even then their response was harsh.
Hunter also thought Rock was going to beg to comeback because he would have flopped as an actor.

Both he and Stephanie are idiots.

Hunter is probably salty as hell watching Batista and Dwayne. You know he thought his career would take off after Blade III. Now he's stuck in the carny life while other guys have a career outside wrestling.

I don't think anyone thought Rock would become the world's #1 movie star, either.
He wouldn't need to be a top star in movies right now to not need the WWE. He is an ambitious guy and charismatic enough to do many forms of genres. Before he blew up he still was probably making a good bank.

He accomplished everything in that company before the age of 30. The superiority complex those two clowns have is bullshit. Then he and Shawn were fucking with him in '97 because of his pushes and probably made it worse knowing Bret backed him backstage.

I love Shawn to death but this guy said, "Like The Rock stole the spotlight from Hunter." So hilarious considering there was no spotlight on Hunter. In DX, everyone was looking at HBK & Chyna, then second DX, Vince was already looking to make The Rock a big star to go with Austin, while Hunter was bullshitting Owen, being overshadowed by NAO & Chyna, and getting hurt. The insecurities are very ridiculous and they try to recreate history in his favour when we all know the truth. All of that politic shit backstage and for what? The man he doubted is worth 5 times more than him according to coed(could be wrong), his father in law has to fork over big bucks to get him to do work, and he gets to escape the phony world. We all know who won in the end.

Bret probably backed him cuz he knew Shawn was giving him shit. Him, Hunter and the McMahons wouldn't know talent if blew up in their ass.

I think one of his early matches were with Owen and Owen saw potential, then his family heritage, and Bret respected that. Vince loved Rock from the very beginning which is why he pushed him so fast, Pat loved him, Jerry had good things to say about him as well(coming up in Memphis), then Bret saw they were trying to sabotage him(kliq) , and wasn't having it.

That Batista interview jesus christ.

Creatively bankrupt, horribly out of touch with pop culture, single minded carnies and even when Vince passes the mantle, not much will change. Fuck em.

He noticed that when WWE films started, John Cena was receiving movie roles and not him. He asked if there was any opportunity for him to act in WWE films and they showed no interest. He then decided to go outside the company and audition and the answer was "You are our property. Get dressed and get to work." He just felt it was unfair to him career-wise and financially and he wasn't content with that and gave them a year's notice.

On his last day with WWE, when he left the first time, it put everything in perceptive. Few people said goodbye and thank you to him. Then security escorted him out of the door. No keep in touch or see you later. He left there with a broken back on his last match with Cena.

Never come back Dave, get as far away as possible.

He says they told Daniel Bryan not to sell all of his injuries at Mania and kinda buried the shit out of them. Pissed him off and hated that Shield split up literally the night after making them look like a million dollars. Says that they should've had Shield continue their run with The Wyatts until everyone was sick of seeing them.

lmao telling the talent to have bad psychology

l m a o

He argued with Vince and creative everyday he was there.

Just sad.

The third and potentially final collection is titled “The Cruiserweight Anthology”. The Cruiserweight Anthology will obviously cover great Cruiserweight matches from the past. This is perfect timing with the Cruiserweight Classic airing a special on July 6th before airing the weekly show starting on July 13th.

Arriving July 1st.

Add Billie Kay to the list of WWE women who have gotten implants recently.

And surprise surprise she wrestled on Smackdown nearly immediately as she was cleared to come back after that surgery!

Fun fact about this rvd Brock Lesnar match up, they're from two states that are rivals. Both are Paul Heyman guys. Both are unique specimens.

Batista had the blues for that last run, his final match as Bluetista makes far more sense now. *chortle*

also that was one hell of a gif spree back there, legit light tubes, skull smashing piledrivers, fire spots, really makes you remember why we watch this stuff.

Have to say I am not a big fan of ultra violent death matches.

This is what happens when you just hire a bunch of marks for the business, they get concussed a lot, won't fight bad creative, just 'be happy to be here!" and change their body to whatever standards you dictate.
