June Wrasslin |OT| When you lose, you're a jobber, when you win, you're Cena.

Yea its weird, even with the Rock if they go again its expected Cena will come out winrar in the end. But Punk wins a proper series of stuff and Cena basically 'gives up' and does some other shit.

Actually I remember now it was HHH who stole Cena's payback win over Punk lol.

How did I forget, HHH needed that one. *rolleyes*

HHH also won over Orton and Sheamus (his "workout buddy") at Wrestlemania, and early in Sheamus' WWE tenure too.

Ridiculous. WHY does he need to win over these young guys? He's literally the only one of the Attitude Era era stars who is like that with young guys, never putting them over.

Trips will continue to win over everyone untill he's perceived as the BEST WRESTLER EVER!

Which will never happen, so fuck the other talent, he's fucking the bosses daughter and after that will become the boss himself. So seriously, go screw yourself young talent, you don't need pushes, there's no shame into jobbing to your boss.

The thing is he doesn't seem to mind young guys getting pushes, as long as their push doesn't come anywhere near him. As soon as it does, he has to beat them at a PPV, because he's the greatest wrestler to ever live and if he buries enough people and gives himself enough world title, surely people will say that he is.

I hope he is too busy as head of the company to appear on TV. That way he can't get the sniff of someone possibly outshining him during their push and rush to beat them cleanly.

Running Raw tomorrow night, going to be epic

What does it mean?!

They're bringing back old talent running up to the 1000th Raw. They got Vader last night, they'll have Nash tonight.

Poor Slater though, first a Vader Bomb, now a Powerbomb from Nash.

They need to fill six weeks and then leave some surprises for the show. So I'm kinda expecting the regular legends to be on the next 4 weeks and the surprises kept for the 1000th Raw.

So Roddy Piper, Dusty Rhodes will be a couple you can expect as well.

His ego will never be satisfied because he's a whiny crybaby that has to be considered 'the best' at wrasslin' because he could never be the cross-over, household name that The Rock, Stone Cold and Hulk Hogan are/were.

Punk/Bryan at Summerslam is the best choice. It's their second biggest show, so you want big matches. The blow off to the Punk/Bryan feud guarantees a great match, no matter the outcome, that's the kind of thing you want for your big summer PPV.

No, it's not.

Alhtough WWE WANTS summerslam to be the 2nd biggest show, it has always been the 4th biggest.

Summerslam <<<< Survivor Series <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Rumble <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Mania , in terms of viewers.

Hasn't Survivor Series been pretty crap for viewers in the last number of years? More so than Summerslam

How does him coming back again so soon even make sense? After his and HHH's LEGENDARY BLOOD FEUD of a match that left us all riveted at the magnitude of its personal-ness, the pure importance of it all ended, how does he just waltz back in, show the NWO sign, hug and then squash the one-man-southern-rockband?

Stop mentioning the text stuff, that shit is pissing me off all over again.

Really, out of all the out's they had they went with "I text myself to powerbomb Punk"

Ugh. See, now I'm pissed off.

You should just laugh off all the stupid stuff that happens in wrestling, that's what I do!

Although I won't be laughing it off if Bryan is disappearing from the CM Punk/Kane/AJ stuff.

Meltzer makes a good point on the Observer radio today about Sin Cara, by looking at the way WWE use luchadores compared to New Japan. Sin Cara's working this slower style since returning, and ever since they signed him there's been talk that he has to "learn the WWE style", but you look at how New Japan used Angel de Oro in the Super Juniors tournament recently, and guys like La Sombra, Mistico & Averno in the past, they just let them go out there and work a lucha libre style with the New Japan guys working with it as best they can, and the result is almost always a fun match that never fails to excite the crowd. They aren't out there trying to wrestle Japanese junior heavyweight style or strong style and failing miserably at it, they're out there showing off the skills that makes luchalibre such an exciting style of wrestling, the skills that made Mistico/Sin Cara such a draw in the first place.

Well Trips is probably better off Financially than Hogan now. And Flair? How sad is that?
Can't believe a legend like that can be in such disastrous situation.

That's not really due to the exposure though, but more on how Hogan/Flair wasted their money.

Besides, Triple H married into the family that has the most of the wrestling cash.

WWE just doesn't do that. Every has to work the same style, no matter how homogenized.

Even Bryan is not as versatile in WWE as he was in other promotions, while of course his matches are all excellent, he does have a lot more repeated spots and it takes longer PPV matches for more variation (he and Punk do a lot of unique stuff in their matches, which is rare in WWE).

When Wade Barrett comes back I hope its without that stupid new theme he had that didn't really fit him at all.

He liked it though so he'll probably keep it lol. *shakes head*

I'm actually surprised that they allow Bryan to use so much of his mat work, but I guess it helps that he's getting over as a technical wrestler/submission specialist. But even so, would a bit more variety kill them? Hell, once Bourne comes back you put him in a feud with Sin Cara and let them do a 10-15 minute lucha/Dragon Gate-style sprint on PPV and I guarantee any half decent crowd would be going nuts.

I think alot of it is just going FU to creative and the bookers backstage and just doing your own thing. I get the idea alot of the new talent is afraid to speak up to the elders backstage, esp. Vince. The thing is though, if you want to go over in WWE, yelling at Vince once in a while helps you do that.

I reckon Bryan blew his lid off when he found out about the WM finish and gave Vince an earful and that's where his continued push comes from. Punk pretty much buried the entire company on air and he's been champion for more then half a year now.

Same thing can be found in Jericho's second book, the second he started literally yelling at Vince he got respect and pushes.

That would be dumb because he can get a title match without it, easily.

Punk won MITB, 3 times though? Daniel Bryan makes the most sense.

Punk beats Kane, AJ starts kissing Punk in the the ring. Bryan sneaks in and hits the 'YES' kick(Sweet Chin Music) to Punk and covers Punk and AJ and Bryan celebrate up the ramp.

The King of Kings is pretty smart. But he could end up in a worse situation than Hogan if he ever crosses Steph.

They should have done Bryan/AJ last night. Why would she wait another month to screw over Punk? Why would Kane leave just because Punk beat him? Bryan didn't leave when that happened to him.

None of this makes sense!

So that last night was to reassure Punk that she was with him. Why do you think Bryan didn't get in the ring - all part of the master plan to embaress him.

They have too many PPVs, this has to last til Summerslam I assume, so it's being padded out.

Yeah, AJ not turning on Punk last night rather than in a month's time makes no sense, but WWE logic, etc.

We'll have to see tonight what way they'll go with the Bryan/Punk/Kane/AJ storyline.

The only thing we know for sure is that she's definitely not interested in Kane.

Are you kidding? She had two orgasms after he kissed her, and don't tell me she was faking!

They should have just let Bryan win, had a rematch at MITB, and just get started on the inevitable Bryan/Cena feud, and let Cena win.

You know it's coming!
