Adam Jones from Tool worked in the original JP. Surprised when I saw him on the making of.

Excited for this movie. Pratt is lovely.

lol, I stand corrected. Still, it strikes me as odd.
Oh for sure if it's like "(Chris Pratt's Charachter Name) - Dino Scientist - with real muzzle action!" That would be weird, but if they don't call it out it is basically Easter egg level so ultimately wouldn't bother me.

But seriously guys.

I can't believe it's happening.

What's happening? Another sequel? We've had two and they sucked dino balls.

Lol, they put the T-Rex Kingdom in close proximity of the Hotel complex....

That map is cool though. They really should make a game out of this as that would make the perfect world map. And yeah, the Far Cry team would have been perfect for something like this.

Imagine the random eventfullness of the dragons appearing in Skyrim, but its a fucking t-rex. And you're stalking through the jungle at night with only a flare, so you run back to your JP jeep... but the batteries dead! And you're playing this on oculus rift. Tell me I'm not the only one that wants this.

Jurassic Park: Tresspasor was released way way back in 1998

Hopefully enough time has passed and the hype this new movie will bring in will be enough to start another game.

But wait, didn't Telltale make some JP games?

...yeahhhh, best not to think about that one.

Carnivores on PS3 quenches my human vs dinos thirst. What I want is a game where I am a dino in dino times doing dino stuff and thangs.

Honestly, I'd throw in a stupid amount of money to a good team to do a modern Trespasser-esque game. All of the original ideas for that game are now technologically feasible and are now common elements of many games. Particularly with the rise of the Open World Survival genre, it seems like a good time to try something like it again. Shame no one will.

Dinosaurs will rule the earth again next year, I think we might have a resurgence of them in gaming too perhaps

Back in 2001, I had hyped JP3 to expectations that could never be met. Saw the orginal Jurassic Park in theaters when is was 3, and I was sure I would be a paleontologist one day. I turned 12 the day JP3 came out, and due to my lofty expectations and Joe Johnston's failure to capture that JP feel, I literally cried as I walked out of the theater.

Spent many hours on Dan's JP3 Page discussing the film and simultaneously discovering the internet.

Jurassic World has a lot of nostalgia to manage, and a legacy to reestablish for the franchise.

The TT Jurassic Park game wasn't that bad for what it was. It was TT still getting their groove on how to approach the more story than gameplay angle. The story was akin to some of the earlier 90s comic books but I still thought it was enjoyable.
A lot of the dislike seemed to stem from all of the QTEs and that you couldn't walk around.

Did anybody here not look at the leaked dinosaur list? I wanna be surprised in theatres. Not a fan of how with the internet almost everything can be spoiled

Huh, I actually have it in my Steam catalog, must have purchased it a while ago.

I actually like what you said about the game. I think if I go in to it expecting mostly story and not much gameplay and sandbox/open world exploration then I might even like it.

At least it'd be a great thing to get my JP fix in while I wait for the new film.
