I guess artistic endeavors are one area where I have a hard time getting over my shame, haha. Writing is as close as I'll ever get but I haven't really done anything much since college.

The one thing you need to work on is your body shape. Like her legs shouldn't be just parallel lines. The best place to start would be learning where all the muscles on the body and what they look like. I hope this is somewhat helpful and I hope you keep at it!

Double for me, but that pretty much goes with anything.
One of the biggest obstacles in drawing for people I believe is proportions. If just the slightest thing is off a person would notice it.
I remember I used to have huge problems drawing females. Porn helped me a bit since I had no money for that model drawing shit. It was the better alternative to grasp the shapes of the female form.
Now I'm in the mood of drawing again...

The one thing I've been working on lately is trying to make hair actually look like hair, rather than a weird helmet on their head. That's why I had Zero Suit Mio's hair blowing in the wind like that. It also makes it look cool.
The first season needs a Blu-Ray release. It's my favorite season and I want the highest quality possible!
Installing it as we speak, hit me up whenever, Onii-chan.
Oh? I should be an expert at drawing women then.

There is, but it's segmented as hell and I've heard the audio was screwed up. And by heard, I mean pizzaroll told me.
But seriously, there's more volumes for the first season than the second season. Bandai screwed up.
I hope so, but for now, I'll just enjoy the dvd set...

Yeah, I really wish they didn't split it into four volumes. Of course I wound up still getting them all. At least the video looks really good...
I didn't even know the Blu-Rays for season 1 were released domestically, so that alone is news to me. At least now I know they're borked and need a new release.

Nothing has been announced but I suspect they will. There was a recent convention (can't remember which) that I believe Sentai was asked about this and they gave a "no comment". Which could mean anything, but I believe they will pick it up along with the movie.
LE K-On boxset - Includes Blu-Rays of both seasons, the movie, and a Mio figure for $200.
So Chet has to buy it.

.$200 is amazingly affordable for what's been offered in that scenario.
Especially as the same content costs the good part of a grand, if you make the step to import from Japan.
Man, this BR thing is turning into a fiasco. I was able to cancel one order fine (from rightstuf), but the other is listed on back-order (deepdiscount), and you can't cancel by normal means. A google search doesn't really make me feel any better about the situation. I've made a huge mistake.
I should have spent the grand.

Really? That bad? Is this just for their LEs or the overall quality of their products?
A grand to import? Yeah, that's not going to happen in this lifetime.
Deepdiscount? Ouch, can't give you any reassurance with them here. >_>; Never order from them again if you can help it, even if they have a good deal.

They just seem to me to do the bare minimum necessary to put out their releases in terms of packaging and extras. I haven't been impressed. At least the actual BD encodes have been good. I don't think that they've ever done LE's either.

Well, I've set things in motion now, they can't really come back at me with the order has been shipped, because I know full well it hasn't. And I was going off a recommendation that ShinoguTakeruKoeru gave earlier on with Deepdiscount, not that I'm placing the blame there. I'm sure the service must have been fine in his case, but I should have done a little fact-checking beforehand.

Sometimes it's just hard to know beforehand with places. The only reason I don't order from them is because the last time I did (granted it was several years ago) the shipping took FOREVER.
You can usually get a good feel for who you can trust, people don't generally lie when it comes to customer service. Oh well, lesson learnt.

I remember reading that towards the end of episode 1 in season 1, the jam between Mio, Ritsu and Mugi that they play for Yui was replaced with some other generic track. Something like this happened again in season 2? Not too sure, just getting this from TVTropes.

Well, as long as the core product is good it's okay, I guess.
I have yet to hear any of my friends say they've had a positive experience with them. They always manage to screw up somehow, whether it be charging for an item they don't really have or failing to cancel an order you told them to cancel weeks ago. Oh, and when you finally receive that order, they make you pay for shipping back to them despite it being entirely their fault for not canceling it. No, I am not exaggerating on any of this. I'll be even more specific, all of this happened to one of my friends who tried to order a TE from them when they were rare. The rest of the time it's usually bad packaging, slow shipping, being forced to pay shipping for a defective exchange, bad customer service, etc.
I've never heard any complaints about Rightstuf, so they're okay in my book. Deepdiscount is just a nightmare to deal with and not a store I would recommend to anyone.
Well, the backorder thing had at least stopped the order from shipping, so I've already sent the cancellation request.
And I'm perfectly fine with Rightstuf, they are genuine, it's just I wanted the entire set for the purpose watching them all.
