I think it might really come down to the fact that they keep the chin/head shape the same what makes it weird. If they wen with something more like Nichijou or Hidamari Sketch, I wouldn't find them so bad.

It really did and even in my tiny circle of friends, I felt like I was the outcast. Mostly because we rarely did anything outside of school. Location may have had something to do with it though... hell, I've felt the same with the neighborhood kids I used to play with. I just... I dunno I beat myself up too much, course when people treat you like absolute shit for most of you life and there's nothing you can really do about it... Oy, I'm ranting again. Anyway..

I know those feels. Hell, even today, I'm an anime+game nerd working across various construction sites. Everyone's either old and talks about business and sports, or if they're around my age all they talk about is the gym. I've never set foot in one.

I'll save the high school stories for another time and place, but all I know is that most people suck, except you few strangers on the internet.

So yeah, don't worry, be happy

Oooh, this is a really tough one for me, too. Middle school was awful for me, high school was great
I transferred
, and so is college even though social activity plummets by then for various reasons. These days the groups I relate to are a little tough to adjust to. Anime fans tend to know too much about anime for me to handle and like genres of games I typically dislike. Fighting game fans are usually stuck up or elitist, but I've managed to find a few nice people I can easily talk to. There's other groups, but then I would just be rambling.

Saying all this reminds me that Kandrick hasn't posted in a while. Kandrick, where are you?! You're one of the people I can easily talk to!

Yup, there were even in-game advertisements for it on billboards or signs. They're all gone now in every release since then, but they were in the DC one.

I made a pretty bad AMV like 5 years ago in college using Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0. I think it was like 4 minutes long or something, took me about a day to do it but with almost no regard for niceties like timing and transitions. Stuff like that with all the editing probably took weeks or months.

Just about the only one I agree with is Connect, and that's more because Madoka Magica is Madoka Magica. I sorta like the other songs that ClariS has done on their album though.

I was hunting around for that K-ON MAD where they take JAKKA JAN and adapt it into that Samurai game from Rhythm Heaven. Couldn't find it for some reason, but here, I found a great adaptation of the first WORKING!! OP into K-ON!.
