On a completely unrelated note, I'm planning to on my Project X Zone backlog, meaning games that I have unplayed that are featured in the game. Not sure what to start with...I do know I need to get through Xenosaga III, plus there's the Devil May Cry series, Valkyria Chronicles series, blah blah etc. I don't even know if it is in X Zone or not but I did just start Sakura Wars: So Long My Love. It's not doing much for me yet, though.

It kind of raises a weird dissonance with that scene, not to mention the film itself. Sure, we know they are Japanese, but for someone watching the dub, if they kept that line intact, Ritsu suddenly spouting garbled English would take you out of it, surely? I wonder if they'll even keep the reference to it being English.

they filmed the Q&A with Naoko Yamada in Edinburgh, so that's almost definitely going to be on there. wonder if they'll redub the English voice acting!

Though I'd like to get a K-ON! one, it's not essential. I've watched quite a lot of shows over the past few months, so I have quite a few favourites I'd happily settle for, but I have no idea if they've been nendo-ised.

The Mio one with the guitar and amp? It seems cheap enough from amazon
If any of K-ON gaf has much experience with purchasing nendos you should give me some recommendations of what to buy! I'll probably only be buying 2 or 3, but any advice would be great I hate having waaaay too much choice, wouldn't mind it getting narrowed down a little.

I don't have any on hand, and I'm actually having a hard time thinking of any point that you actually see it. You usually just see her desk area when a scene is in her room. The only episode I can think of that you see her bed is episode 14 in K-ON!! Whenever Mio and Ritsu are hanging out, it always seems to be Ritsu's house. Which is why I chose to have my picture be in Ritsu's room.
That said, I did just realize the part in the movie where they show

I shall endeavor to do so! Though I shouldn't have said backlog on those, as I don't have them period . Looks like the DMC HD collection can be had for cheap, anyway. And I've got some money left on PSN so I can use that on VC 2 (don't worry, I'll VC1 as well).
And thank goodness Sentai finally announced the K-ON movie. I also cannot wait for that particular dub .

The school uniform K-ON girls should be easy enough to come by still through various sources. Those might be a good place to start. Ritsu comes with her full drum kit, of course, which is a lot of fun. Or I presume it would be, since she's the only one I still don't have . I do have that Mio, and of course she is an excellent choice. If you like Hidamari Sketch, Yuno and Maya are both up for preorder and look very cute.

Just thinking about this, you probably see Ritsu's room the most out of all the girls outside of Yui's. I don't think they ever do show Azusa's room, and of course they never show Mugi's, not even from the outside. lol

Ah well, I'll just treat this as a first draft of some sort and restart tomorrow at work. Or tonight if I can't sleep. The proportions are all busted anyway, huh?
Partly because I feel bad for counting the chicken before it hatched (I EVEN SAID THIS TO MYSELF RIGHT OUTSIDE THE TRAIN STATION WHEN I POSTED IN THIS THREAD BEFORE GOING HOME AND I DIDN'T LISTEN!!!!), and partly because I'm a narcissistic fool, I'll post what I managed to scan in as a teaser.
Commentary time: Where Mugi is, I actually tried to draw Ritsu there at first. That was when I ran into the revelation that I sucked at drawing Ritsu because I've never tried to do so before. Also, because of where I railroaded myself by virtue of the odd curve that they all turn towards the spine in, I had to put Mugi in that corner whom I have also never tried to draw before. I was trying to find any space between Yui and Azusa to fit in clues as to why she was for some reason a head or so taller than everybody. That kind of tip-toe-standing is not adequate! XD
Seriously can't wait for the K-ON Movie. My guess is they'll just go with everybody speaking English unless they did something different for Mugi's line in the beginning of the episode where she hung out with Ritsu? (I have it in my head that she says "Uno momento kudasai!" because that's weird)
And even though it's all out here now legit in English I may end up importing every single release from Japan one day for the cast commentaries and the other bonuses they included back there. What would I do with those cloth posters? ._.
