No kidding, Kirino is 5 cm taller than Mio. Though I guess that's why she's also a model.

I went to Anime North back in 2002. It was so much fun. Hung out with the Japanese band, don't even remember their names, Steve Bennett and Doug Smith (voice of Kintaro from Goldenboy) Good times!
I'm only just decent in Marvel. lol. I'll hold off a couple weeks for a 3rd Strike sale, and if it doesn't by then, I'll just buy it

Looked up the name of the Japanese band from Anime North 2002, it was PsyDoll! Ha. They were cool.

He was soooooo cool! He also signed the inside cover of a Gender Bender Manga, called "Futaba-Kun Change!" That he did the cover art for.
Wish they had adapted an anime of it.

Yeah, you don't really realize it in the normal show as they're only really seen in their own school for the most part.
6'1" is what my drivers license says.

I worked with a couple Japanese exchange students when I was at Disney World. They were like 5'1 or something each. lol. xD

On a trip to Chicago not too long ago, there was a group of Japanese kids at the hotel I stayed at. They were all pretty short.

I'm terrible for converting measurements. Americans and their silly "feet" and "inches". This was also on my license that hasn't changed since I was 16 and a day. Same picture too, when I had some pink in my hair.

my license doesn't even have that kind of info. i just went by a measurement i did over 10 years ago (i haven't grown at all since then so it is valid)
in the manga version, she tosses the gloves away. it looked funnier.
also, dating a girl that is on par or slightly taller than me sounds kinda appealing from a certain point of view.
i have like 0 dating experince so i actually have no idea how it would compare against a shorter girl

Yeah, but this scene in the anime has it's own charm.
Doug Smith is a bit of an asshole.
He used to hang out in Lafayette a lot with the convention organizers.
I saw some quite ugly sides of his personality.
