Nothing wrong with Black Lagoon!
to me, stuff like the bad guy trolling everyone across the whole story, his many plans and manipulation on people and the little magic ball with odd powers were odd concidences.
though, from the point of view of the good guys, they don't have anything in common in that side (except from Tessaiga behaving like a Zampakutou's shikai)
Chet and I agreed that not even Nami's talent could save that Pirate Anime.
Yeah, Naraku and Aizen are master trolls. Everytime I talk about InuYasha people have always given me shit about it (too much filler, it goes nowhere, Kagome's a bitch, etc.) but I really had a good time with the series.

Oh yeah, I forgot Colour. Mine is Orange, although watching the original MMPR series made me love Green too.
You mention YYH, and I'm actually rewatching it since I never finished it as a kid (hence the GIFs from earlier). I just finished S3 as we were talking, and I didn't like it. Series is starting to turn into DBZ. I did love everything from the beginning to the Dark Tournament though.

It's great up to the end of dark tournament, stopped watching during that demon tunnel arc and they changed the show time to like 5am . one of my fave shows and fave dub openings.
That's what happened to me, I stopped watching when it got moved to 5AM. So that is why I decided to go through the series this year to finally get closure, but Season 3 feels like its turning into DBZ with the Sensui battle - multiple episodes, power ups, "dying", all this talk about pride and shit, etc. The Toguro battle was kinda going into that territory too, but it felt more self-contained at that point.
