and you'd be surrounded by tons of other painfully shy anime lovers as well! I was pretty damn shy to my first con. It helps you come out of that shell, and make some really good friends.
Plus, cosplay. That's always fun.

More of a cosplay event than a proper con. Not that many shops that sells anime here in Norway so there were almost nothing of that to buy.

If done right, it can look cool. Also, I may have lost a bet around 10 years ago and might have cosplayed a female character before (and well, actually) but that's a story for another time. xD

I was building it for him, it wouldn't turn out at one point but I fixed it by moving what slot the ram was in. Uncle's coming to pick it up tomorrow or tuesday so it'll be out of my hair.

I've been to every Otakon starting in 2006 and I've made some pretty good friends there over the years. And I'm as socially awkward as they come.

I went to Otakon by myself this year and felt lost as hell ;___;
