I don't get it, I mean, even if they were prostitutes, so what? You see someone you think is a prostitute and you just arrest them?
Sex slavery and human trafficking are pretty horrible things for someone to be a victim of. I'm guessing it would have been the management getting arrested and the girls taken to hospital/rehab had they been found to be victims.

You were given several in-depth answers and invitations to debate but chose to drive by post.

You're obviously not very interested in facts since their costumes are as 'bold' as you see in that picture.

But you're doing a good job of slut shaming in the process.

Wow, what? Like, WHAT?

I know enough about K-pop to know it's not the girls themselves who choose to dress that way in videos, or are coming up with the choreography themselves, or are getting plastic surgery because they think they need it.

Seriously, screw you man. It's the fucking managers and corporate owners who tell them to do this shit. I'm not "slut shaming" anyone. I'm pointing out the disgusting, shameless nature of the videos and the K-pop fans who blindly buy into it as anything but complete objectification of these young women.

Middle finger in the air for you, friend.

Wow...K-pop fans really, really scare me. I'm done engaging with K-pop GAF on any level. I know Asian fever when I see it.

Girl group A Pink recently confessed that they have not yet experienced their first kiss, so they think of their fans while dancing the key choreography moves for “Mr.Chu.”

This has nothing to do with what I'm talking about tho. Some guy in this thread found them all cute, and for aqll you know he lives in a place where 16 is legal, and then loads of people jump on him saying underage. But where he is it isn't.

It's still creepy sure, but then I guess that's more them looking about 12.

Most of us weren't creeped out because he thought they were cute, the "I'd marry any of them" wreaked of racist Asian fetishism.

All your favourite pure and innocent KPOP stars are going to amazing private exclusive parties where they get coked up and fuck all night.
Im sorry you can't believe that these 20 years old women have never been kissed and do not know what sex is. Korean girls are not like the kind of women you often see in the west. They treasure their bodies.

When theres a big group like that, the worry is that they're being trafficked and the arrest is supposed to be for their own good.

That seems like mixed messages..

...You mean yellow fever?

Eh, if you want to call it that. Either way not a single person quoted him saying it was creepy because one of them were underage. The comment just seemed strange. Hell I thought it was creepy and I didn't think they might be underage until others brought it up.

Hum. *snort*

There are surely girls everwhere who treasure their bodies and a lot of with little to no experience, which is cool. But I highly doubt that all koreas girls are pure Lapras.

...You mean yellow fever?

I've actually learned to steal clear of that term. It's a little, I dunno, racially insensitive. I now go with "Asian fever" or "Asian fetish", which apply to a great number of the white guys I've met in Asia over the past 9 years.

It really disgusts me.

You can be attained at an airport for suspicious activity, if you prove otherwise you're free to go, but it seems likely the managers didn't have real proof/documentation to prove their story.

I could legit marry any one of 'em... i dont even care which one.
They're so cute (✿◠‿◠)

It's a shame you already have a tag, since this one is far, far better and far cringier.

Holy shit this is the kind of thing that makes my asshole pucker up when I read it.

I lived in Korea too and met enough expats and foreign exchange students like you who exchanged hearsay, telephone game-style, until they took any old rumor someone put out for fact and argued in absolutes based off it. The world isn't black and white, and seldom less truthfully represented than by bitter expats.

You're putting out there that scantily clad women makes it "look like they're in the sex trade".

I tried to respond to you in the kpop thread, but you were long gone, refusing to get to the actual arguments, just leaving behind generalizations about race and gender of the audience which were way off base http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=187516005&postcount=13772

Bad shit happens in k-pop, like in us pop, hollywood - entertainment industry in general. But your generalizations about k-pop performers is in itself both racist and sexist. There are plenty of k-pop artists with advocacy of their own who do their own styling and form an image. The example you first posted in the kpop thread was of a song written and composed by one of the members. But to you they're all defenseless kittens, because 'that's how it is in Korea'. Racist and ignorant.

Did the staff/manager of the band explained to the customs if they are a band and on America for touring/performing? This alone could explain all those weird costumes. On Reddit most of the people speculated that the company try to take a cheaper route by getting the girls tourist visa instead of more expensive working/performing visa.

Preferences are fun

I mean, that's what it is, yeah? It's still a real dumb ass thing to say, but it's his type, so whatever

It doesn't matter whatsoever. It's just a gag term for dudes who are thirsty for Asians. The world will spin on.

Eh...I have a few friends who are Asian women, so my opinion is screwed. Most guys who prescribe to the fetish who I've met were incredibly creepy.

You've twisted my words and my meaning here, and calling me a racist is really, really out of line. I absolutely abhor being called a racist when it's unwarranted.

Fuck you, seriously man. Fuck you.

And their names are weird in the context of the topic. I don't want to hear about somebody called Eatchildren and his underage coke parties.

I don't think Eatchildren can afford coke, isn't the Aussie dollar weak right now? His parties are probably a bunch of housewives and lukewarm fosters.

Some of you boys are doing the nice guy dance and getting exposed in this very topic.

This thread is hilarious.

Can't tell who is being serious.

I'm scared, guys.

Though I DO want to know how to get invited to these exclusive coke parties because #YOLO

That's because creepers usually have it, its The Ethnic Illness™!

I said your generalizations were racist, I didn't call you anything. We've all probably done it in our lives, made thoughtless remarks about a group of people - own up to it. You should try to use arguments instead of playing the victim card. Your first words to us in the other thread were gross, simple insults. Then you refused to participate in serious debate, just left the posts. You assumed things about the demographic of the place which were wrong. And you still won't respond to any of my arguments.

As someone who has traveled overseas several times for fan events and vacations I can can only say that in my experience it is true. Women there also seem to appreciate a more modest man, unlike at home where it's about how much money you make and etc.

I mean, it's not like you are painting yourself in a good light here.

Honest and sincere question; does K-pop GAF fap to this shit? Because that's the only explanation I can come up with for someone enjoying this music video. Koreans are quick to point the finger at white guys for perpetuating the Asian fetish, but this K-pop shit also plays right into that. This music video is appalling; it's blatant sexual objectification, reducing women to two basic parts, their mouth and their ass. All I see is a video directing viewers' attention to two orifices on these women.

Holy shit has K-pop gotten bolder since I left Busan. My apologies for offending anyone and their personal tastes, but a bunch of white guys fawning over this stuff is some abhorrent shit. I just feel like, in an age when we're still trying to combat misogynistic attitudes towards women, shit like this sets us back, big time.

This is not a drive-by post, either. I'm open to any explanation/form of discussion anyone may care to offer. Feel free to PM me. I'm not sticking around to get lynched by the K-pop mob, so more reasonable discussions can take place elsewhere.

lol at asking for a reasonable discussion after lambasting a whole group of people's favorite thing and then calling Koreans problematic.

I don't even like K-Pop and this is one of my favorite threads already.

It seems very likely that the Korean agency is lying about the prostitution allegation. I'm sure the topic came up when they were detained and being questioned. But the likelier scenario is still that they had the wrong visas.

I know you're joking, but trust me, you haven't seen what I've seen. It's some crazy shit. I guess I shouldn't assume based on past experience, bit good lord have I seen some shit.

This is a very good point.
