I lived in Korea too and met enough expats and foreign exchange students like you who exchanged hearsay, telephone game-style, until they took any old rumor someone put out for fact and argued in absolutes based off it. The world isn't black and white, and seldom less truthfully represented than by bitter expats.

Bad shit happens in k-pop, like in us pop, hollywood - entertainment industry in general. But your generalizations about k-pop performers is in itself both racist and sexist. There are plenty of k-pop artists with advocacy of their own who do their own styling and form an image. The example you first posted in the kpop thread was of a song written and composed by one of the members. But to you they're all defenseless kittens, because 'that's how it is in Korea'. Racist and ignorant.
