Anyone know who claims to be the best cook in SNSD? Do they even cook? I bet all their food intake is monitored by SM. like they each get 3 packets a day with all the food they are allowed to eat and they have to sneak in ice cream or something should they want it.

Can you guys explain to me how these dorms work? I mean, do all SM artists live in the same building? Do they also train/practice there?

Also, do they still share rooms? Why is this? I guess they do it to build a sense of family? SM cant afford to get them a bigger place?
Anyways 9 girls living together, sharing bathrooms... man, their fights should be of epic proportions...

Sorry for all the questions. Its just Ive always wondered about this.

I assume it's for convenience and security, really. If they need to go somewhere - which they do, all the time, the members are all in the same place. They would probably get harassed (and, let's face it, stalked) a hell of a lot more if they were in different places.

It just eliminates a bunch of variables, I suppose, and we keep on seeing that it doesn't take much at all to seriously destabilise or end a Korean entertainment career.

The bonding aspect of it is a good side-effect, I would say. I think, personally, that I would get to a stage where I would want a fucking killer house like TOP's, but me putting myself in the shoes of a young woman who has been at the centre of intense media scrutiny and crazy training for her adult life doesn't really work.

Do SNSD still actually live in a dorm situation though? Surely by now SM will have them in decent sized apartments or something like 2NE1.

I remember Sal saying a while back that they've upgraded to a much swankier dorm. Don't know if they still share rooms though.

I do wonder though what they are doing with all that cash. Hyo bought her parents a new house but I guess they are being smart and saving it. They only got like 3 years before they are considered old and they got to make the cash last the rest of their life. It sucks because no matter how beloved they are now, with the idiotic netizen culture, they are one tea-time scandal away from never being able to get work ever again. I also wouldn't be surprised if SM is taking 90% of their earnings.

Not all SM artists live in the same building, they're spread all across seoul. Members of one group live with each other. Pretty sure their training/practice rooms are at some SM building like the ones you see on HaHaMong show with SNSD and Night Star and the MTV eps.

I'm pretty sure SNSD would still share rooms.. can you imagine a 9 bedroom apartment? Never seen one that big though im sure SM could easily afford one if such a thing existed. However they probably save money by giving them just a decent sized one so Lee Soo Man can get richer.

It means journal. Nah, only the elder G7 guys like Village Chief, Wangbu, and Lee Roadster came to G8 to kind of hand over the "reigns". Just kind of a ceremonial party and they explained how G7 helped out the Yuchiri farming community.

I'm sure the PD's of G8 have plans for the G7 members to visit, seems like Hyomin is chomping at the bit to get back with Sunny.

From my extensive internet stalking of Soshi, the dorm living situation is a big ass apartment which they have tried to keep hidden but stalkers already know where they live. I'm pretty sure most KSONEs know where its at but respect their privacy (hopefully).

Taengoo/Sunny roomates
Fany has her own room because her family doesn't live in Korea, she has a dog and rumors of another dog and a cat as well.
Sica/Sooyoung roomates.
Yuri/Yoona roomies.
Hyoyeon/Maknae roomies.

I kind of suspect that Sica and Sooyoung only use the dorms during promotions and if they have the choice they will go sleep at their parents house.

As for their training, they do it at the drab SM building that is kind of hidden in plain site right next to a shopping mall and high-school.
