A 4-Member Kara is still manageable/marketable, I agree that with 3 it hardly is. Maybe adding 1-2 members? Unthinkable now.
Was first into Kara before Soshi, it's sad.

Not familiar with KARA but those members would be good leads on new groups or even solo artists? One of them could be the leader of YG's new girl group.
I like how by this point Sungah thinks she's basically entitled to all the free kisses/gropes she wants.
Kara will become an abomination like After School and end up with 9 members within a year.
I'll be honest, she wasn't the person I had in mind that would leave KARA first(always thought Hara or Gyuri would go solo or quit first)
Well Nicole's family were the one that spearheaded the original 2011 contract termination campaign. Gyuri was the only one that stayed the whole time so it was a good bet she would stay.
Plus Nicole is family friends with the JYJ guys so I always wondered if she saw them with their own company and maybe wanted in.
But if Kara can come back from losing the magnificence that was Sunghee they can certainly make it without Nicole. Why do the best ones always have to be a little nuts/undedicated. ;_;

MV production ideas from Stellar, concept from Sistar, choreo and humble-dol style from Crayon Pop... I'm not saying everything has to be original, but if you are new and yet feel so familiar, you aren't going to turn heads. Even Lay-T and Skarf had something fresher than this going on, and beyond that tier you have great debuts like C-Real and Fiestar that also went nowhere despite strong backing, and even Spica is still struggling after a year. I like the melody of the first verse (which is rather Crayon Pop and that one girl is aping Soyul hard) and they seem hard working but I have zero hope for them like this because they just don't have the magic on any level. Depending on funding they could refresh and pull a Girl's Day, but it is doubtful.

Well, at least I hope that Nicole goes solo. She isn't quite the singer like Seungyeon but she needs to be in the spotlight really.
I've started with the Clazziquai discography on another note. Super relaxing, soothing music. I really like it.
Oh and there's something I have all the time. I hear a song, I don't listen to it for weeks, then I discover it by accident and become addicted to the song. I almost have this exclusively with K-Pop songs. I had it with the Nine Muses song this year, with 2Yoon and now this great Fiestar song:

Yeah besides Gyuri and hammy...if Nicole is really leaving it's going to be be difficult to uphold the Kara name. This is sad news.

Hey K-Pop Gaf, I was a huge fan of Kpop since 2008 but I fell out recently due to oversaturation. However I needed somewhere to vent about this situation with one of my favorite girl groups Kara. I can't believe my favorite member in the whole group is leaving. Not only was Nicole my favorite one but one of the best looking kpop members in the industry. I am holding back horse tears because of this. This news saddens me mostly because I know Kara will never be the same. In memory of them, I wanted to put down the song that started it all for me.

I've wanted this for so long. Well, maybe not straight up leave the group, but another sub-unit with Hyo, Yuri and Sooyoung would be right up my alley. Yeah yeah, dancers only, can't sing, Hyo's too ugly, etc., whatever. I just think it'd be really fun if they got to do something different instead of more overly cutesy pop music. I still watch this amazing Hyo & Yuri (and Henry) performance like once a week. I love it so much.
They're grown women, let them get creative for a bit. Let them do some dance/hip hop inspired stuff or something. I'm sure that's something they'd enjoy (plus we'd get more dance stages.)
Those last shots are actually from a TTS show. Wapop, I think it's called? Ugh, I hope we don't see a TTS comeback any time soon. Something different please, SM.

lol You make it seem like TTS are Shinee or Exo pumping out 4 albums a year or something. They've only had only had one (very short but very successful) promotion cycle. It would be a good way to build up to a group comeback. Maybe even do a few different sub groups.
It has kind of been rumored since the first dispute that Nicole could leave or be removed. An article from 2011:

because I can't stand Tiffany and Taeyeon is...eh, I don't mind her. I like Seohyun a lot though.
Let's have Hyo, Yuri and Sooyoung do their thing first, followed by a Sunny/Jessica/Yoona sub group singing, I dunno, mellow acoustic music or something. Then go back to TTS and repeat.
Basically, I just want to see something like this but with singing. I'd love that.
