In that context, it makes sense then. Have CL go on a barnstorming tour of America, then get into the studio late 2015, tell the group its the final album together, then hash out an album for release in mid to late 2016, then promptly disband the group.
It makes me curious to see what the mood is privately between the four girls are, especially in relation to the sudden desire for YG to let them do the things they've wanted to do. They all must see the end, more specifically Bom, and are being given white flags as a peace offering, the entertainment equivalent of a golden parachute if you will.
Still, when it's all said and done, I would be interested to see who among the group manages to spill the beans completely on who YG truly is. They've already done so semi-publicly, and said it in manners that are very open to interpretation. And it isn't pretty. Especially when you consider the absolute pressure YG put on CL to get plastic surgery and conform to Korean beauty standards, and how Bom cracked under said pressure. Likewise, the entire career of Bom being bungled, from her vocal chords being absolutely destroyed due to her not having any sort of overwatch in terms of vocals (I refuse to believe lymph nodes can do the amount of damage Bom has had on her vocal chords) to leaving her out to the wolves in her drug 'scandal' as a piecemeal truce to the Korean government for ineptitude in the Sewol tragedy, to definite verbal, mental, and possible physical abuse under the guise of tough love.
I got a lot of flak for saying this, but I firmly believe that hardcore YG stans and Blackjack, in their rush to demonize SM by accusing them of mistreating their artists, fail to realize that YG himself is just as bad, if not worse then SM, mainly because he can basically admit to him doing these things, and people will stoll defend him to the ends of the earth. Even now the most staunch SM supporters are beginning to realize that all is not what it seems in SM, and are rightfully putting them under the hot seat. Yet I see very rarely anybody doing the same thing to YG.
