Any quality link for New Slaves?
I love the dark agressive slant on this album, these live videos alone shit on all of born sinner for me, i can't even name you a memorable track off that album. I'd take the two snl performances we've had for yeezus over that album.
Yeezus sounds like it's gonna be great to dance to looking at onsite.
If you're talking about the goverenors ball performance we got this http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Tr6t5heUOaY
.
Born sinner has a completely different vibe to it, they shouldn't even be compared lol
That doesn't make sense, they are both hip hop albums and I can compare their overall quality however much I want even if the sounds are different. We do that all the time when we make lists of the best albums, ranking albums with completely different vibes. From the live songs we've heard alone I have enjoyed them more than all of Born sinner, and there's nothing wrong with that (that album is not bad, it's decent/ok, just not memorable, yeezus is on another level so far).
This isn't what I'm hearing...They just finished mastering this shit today man. not enough time for manufacturing and shipping its definitely going to be itunes only and then physical probably a week after...this shit ain't leaking.
Where is that from?
Where is that from?
kanye was fucking awesome at governors ball. crowd was great! black skinhead was excellent but i am totally not feeling the rest of the new songs that he played. "i am a god" was just okay.
as a side note, gov ball fucking sucked this year. fuck mud fuck people
This album is going to be real divisive for sure, personally I'm really loving the dark electronic trap music he's got going with the songs shown so far.
i also love the dark aesthetic but the only song that really hyped me up on first listen is black skinhead. that song goooooeeeeesssss. but since its a kanye release im going to get it regardless, and maybe it will grow on time.
is "onsite" the daft punk produced song? it just has to be.
Just listened to the posted video of black skinheads. Man it loses so much in the YouTube recording. You cant tell how different it was from the SNL version. I'm telling you, the bass is fucking insane.
It actually sounds less rock and more hip hop, the subs were going CRAZY.
HrmmmmHaving heard many Yeezus songs live now, which one is your favourite?
Whatchu hearing boiiii?This isn't what I'm hearing...
Shit is sounding raw. I'm ready.
Awful, awful, auto-tune BS in the first song. God, how can anyone like that kind of music.

They'll make physical in time for the release. Kanye's a top artist, gotta have product on the shelves. That's what I'm hearing.Whatchu hearing boiiii?

KEN MASTERS SAYS BY WEDNESDAY AT THE LATEST. he just knows, LOLIf it's in stores next week, I can't imagine it wouldn't have leaked yet.
Fuck yes, the R U Ready beat being put to use. I was afraid he bought it but wasn't gonna use it.
Are you in the know?

I'm more excited for this Yeezus than E3 or WWDC to be honest. I like that the announcement came out of nowhere and the wait time from the announcement to release is short, no bullshit waiting or drawn out marketing plan.
If it's in stores next week, I can't imagine it wouldn't have leaked yet.
This song is gonna be blaring out of every car this summer.
EDIT:
So, are these the best quality videos we have for the respective songs or what?
I Am A God - http://youtu.be/5RDdsWm3uRU
Onsite - http://youtu.be/TtGXW3kqdnM
Black Skinhead - http://youtu.be/4v0XWYKvkX8
New Slaves - http://youtu.be/Tr6t5heUOaY
Send It Up - http://youtu.be/uiHA0bXzMrI
Just want to know so I can add to OP.
Listened to the first four already, but I think I'll wait on Send It Up. At this point I've heard enough, I'm REALLY digging this dark, electronic vibe Ye's going with this time. The music almost sounds like a soundtrack to some grim, future, cyberpunk setting.
