The more I listen to Famous the more I feel like the entire song is supposed to be taken as a sardonic joke rather than an earnest statement from Kanye.
Maybe that's me giving him a little too much credit, especially with how much of an egomaniac Kanye is, but Swizz Beats' lyrics on this thing just make this feel more tongue in cheek than anything. I'm reminded of that "It's just a prank, bro" video by Filthy Frank which constantly had appended zingers to emphasize how ridiculously self congratulatory it is. Same feeling here, with the constant "God DAMN!" lines appended to just about every punchline Kanye provides here, presented in such a cheesy over the top way.
I know it's a thing that rap tracks employ a lot when the fires are hot but something about it in this context is just a little bit too obvious when previous albums, Yeezus in particular, showed more restraint with even more extreme lines. Feels like Ye is usually above that.

It's my third or fourth favourite, it just gets better every time I listen. KTT are crazy anyway.
Pablo could have been Kanye's best album if it played it's cards right with just a few tiny details. Right now it and Graduation are my two favorites but I'm not all too tempted to defend the album since it challenges the listener more than Yeezus which was at least consistent as a package of songs. I just subconsciously find myself relistening to this album a lot without realizing it in spite of it's qualities.
I consider Wolves to really be the ending of the album and everything after it to be a low-key "after party" bonus disc, since most of the songs there are fairly subtle lyrically, or not as progressive melodically. If Facts were removed I'd love that entire part as an append to the album.

Feedback to Freestyle 4 is a really weak portion to an album. The tracklisting is scattershot, and there's some really bad decisions made on it (like the entire second half of 30 hours.) And the lyrics are retroactively making Yeezus worse because it's evidence that Kanye aren't writing these stupid lines in good faith.

Like the worst I can say about Graduation is that it didn't feel like the sound evolved beyond the material before it. This straight up has bad material, and quite a bit of it.
Also I doubt he's fixing that mess because it's out and regardless of it's sloppy nature people praised it. His Ego got what it wanted and he's moving on. TG16 is going to be uh, interesting.

I eagerly took and withstood a hefty amount of Ls during this saga but this by far is the biggest, L'est, most painful L to date. Its like watching a porn video but forgetting to go on incognito and then accidentally clicking "Like". Or waking up and stepping on cat vomit first thing in the morning. The L Capitan.
I signed up for Tidal on the night it went up but I upgraded to HiFi and I think that had a shorter period. I'll contact TIDAL support and see what they say.
But yeah I shoulda cancelled as soon as I got it, so I could still use it until it ran out. I trusted Ye to release the album so I could just purchase it and then cancel. I TRUSTED YOU YE. But the fault lies with me. I fucked up.

There are other good songs, but they really need to be a little longer. It's frustrating how soon they end. I think this album would have been incredible if a couple of songs were extended and it ended with Wolves. I'm completely uninterested in the album after that point.
