FSMH vocals are great, just caught the latest famous and I hate the line switch :/

Most of the changes are for the better, Feedback is rough though

Really hope someone in his camp catches the 30 Hours outro being fucked up, but other than that I'm very happy with the changes.


Feedback will grow on me.

Fuck the outro on 30 Hours is borderline unlistenable because of how offbeat it is.

Other than that, it's aight. The cleaner vocals on Waves are greatly appreciated, though I detest the change to Wolves and Feedback. It just adds the finishing touches to an album that was sorely needing them.

i had to delete tidal from my phone in order to update the album, there's alot of significant changes to certain songs. some differences are additional vocals (e.g. Vic Mensa & Sia on Wolves, the vocals on FSMHpt1) and other have new elements/instruments added or removed. the only songs that didn't seem different to me were Real Friends and NMPiLA.

Add me to the dislike list for updated Feedback. I miss the synths but do enjoy the new bassline.

This is the only update that I've disliked so far though. Keep doing you Ye.

For the next patch I hope he adds like 5 seconds of silence at the end of Waves. It just feels like Waves cuts off abruptly and then FML starts right up. I think it would sound a lot better that way when you're listening through the whole album.

Some big improvements across the board. New Highlights is great.

Was really hoping he would include Saint Pablo with the update. Guess I'll have to wait till summer.

I could also see him dropping it tomorrow as a Tidal exclusive bonus track that the other services don't have. I BELIEVE.

That added choir harmonising with ye in fsmh pt 1 is the most beautiful thing ever, instantly made me super happy
Also chance said that no one can judge line when they performed ulb live on snl so i dont find it jarring or surprising.

Feedback was my favorite song from the album, and yet I'm already accustomed to this new version after 3 listens. It's really great. The beat switching to the heavily distorted, low-fi drums sounds so good. Plus the original distorted riff still appears.

And Caroline Shaw on FML 😯💃

Man the whole album is better...I regret not waiting for the goty edition. The mastering and mixing changes are exceptional

Love it, next time some of the Tidal illuminati twat squad yelps something about 'tidal exclusive', we can all hang back and chill and wait for the inevitable release since they're all way too greedy to NOT reach the masses. Love it!

Love how crisp Highlights sounds, the glorious choir on Father Stretch My Hands, the live feeling of the drums on 30 hours, FML background vocals.

Not a fan of new Feedback's beat, but I love the bass that kicks in. Old one was secretly the best track on the album. Chance's "no one can judge" is so jarring lol.

Fade is much better now with the mix of the OG and the album version, song progresses better, also it doesn't end abruptly anymore lol.

Not a fan of the slower beat but that bass is mint.

Fucked my head up as I didn't know it had changed and was just randomly playing it with the wife. Shit came out of nowhere....kind of scared me, lol. I don't hate it but it was absolutely fine the way it was.

I still get sad thinking about how much better the album would be if ye just improved the writing on this, it's the major weakness. Production is fine.
