Kanye West - The Life of Pablo |OT2| I miss the OT1 Kanye.

So the KTT album rankings are over and the results are:

1. MBDTF
2. Late Registration
3. 808s & Heartbreak
4. Yeezus
5. The College Dropout
6. Graduation
7. The Life of Pablo

3-5 were really close in ratings.

Well, at least 1 & 3 are right.

1. MBDTF
2. Yeezus
3. 808s
4. Late Registration
5. TCD
6. The Life of Pablo
7. Graduation.

There are fractional differences between the seven, but that's how it is in my book.

EDIT: See You in My Nightmares, Waves, and Freestyle 4 are definitely not worst 10.

Wolves w/ Drake will be the best Kanye album.

Heard it here first.

Nooo way.

They should have done a collab album around 2012-13 when they were both at their primes. Nowadays, Drake strives for cultural capital via memes with his albums and Kanye's lost the focus that made Yeezus, 808s and MBDTF so great. It'll have one hot single, a couple of decent songs, and be WTT-tier at best.

Went to Drake's OVO Fest yesterday and Kanye showed up and performed his verse on Pop Style, FSMH Pt.1, Famous and Runaway.

Absolutely incredible. Place erupted when he came out. I'm talking deafening screaming.

They announced that they're making a collaborative album. Cannot wait to see what comes of it!

Been listening to all of Kanye's discography while I wait for Frank Ocean to show up (lol) and while I wait for him to hit Toronto later in the month, and I'm pretty confident in saying no other artist in any genre hits as consistently as Kanye does. So many classics, and so many great albums for all different moods and settings.

Kanye is opening up 21 pop-up stores this weekend with TLOP merch.

Exact locations have not been revealed yet but will be 24 hours before the shops open.

Confirmed cities are: San francisco, Portland, Las Vegas, LA, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Atlanta, Detroit, Chicago, Toronto, Philadelphia, NYC, Boston, London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Cape Town, Singapore, Sydney and Melbourne.

Finally you too can experience the 6 hour wait I did while waiting in line for the first pop-up shop for a $45 t-shirt. What a time.

I wonder what time I'd have to arrive at the Miami show to be up front and center...

Anecdotal experience? Night before. You'd have to be in the area of the store before the announcement of it happens. I arrived at noon, about 4 hours before doors were supposed to open, and there were already about 40-50 people in line. And even then, I got into the store only at around 6-7. Hypebeasts are nuts, man.

Ah I meant during a concert. I've had a shit ass summer, slammed at work and this show has pretty much been the light at the end of the tunnel

Damn, pop up shop coming here but idk if I'm willing to wait it out. I've stood in the Austin heat for some posters for like 6+ hours one time but idk that shit was exclusive and it seems likely he'll be selling similar merch at his shows. Only good thing is we are getting rain this week so it shouldn't go past high 80s at least. Idk idk.

Probably same thing. For arena shows most stans get there the morning of at bare minimum if they wanna be close to the stage but if you want guranteed front and center, camping the night before is the way to go.

A lot of the times you'll even have weirdos there days in advance. Some places don't like you doing that though and it seems super stressful to care that much lmao.

Fuuuuck. I gotta drive 5 hours down to Miami too...

Edit: man I really love the Yeezus tour shirts. I can only imagine the TLOP ones are going to look similar to what's out now which is a disappointment

Is it me or are the actual locations not up for a ton of the stores? Only Australia has actual addresses, all the others are just city names.

Any word on if the pop-up shops will sell physical versions of the album? Because that would convince me to go.

Or pay someone to go for me because there are none near DC.

While I havent listened to nearly enough music to make such a claim, what I can say is that he has never put out a bad or mediorce solo album after 7 releases each sounding very different from the last. I dont know many artists who can make that claim.

Ridiculous discography.
