Mika has more personality in her pinky than most of the newcomers of 4.No....no.
SFA series did have cody, so that is a major plus

And let him be the last blonde character they throw into this. Half of the roster is already blonde. Makes the game seem like it lacks diversity tbh.Yup.
Her confirmation brings us closer to an Alex confirmation but I'll only allow myself to be hype when I see it.

Je vais te montrer le fossé qui nous sépare !
Didn't know Karin was french
Maintenant que Karin a été dévoilé, l'espoir de voir Sakura dans l'alignement se fait de plus en plus mince![]()
I'll give you everyone else but are you guys honestly counting Birdie as blonde? lolAnd let him be the last blonde character they throw into this. Half of the roster is already blonde. Makes the game seem like it lacks diversity tbh.

Then you pronounce it wrong. Karin isn't Karen.

Rose players will never forget
''now that Karin got revealed the chances of seeing Sakura in the line-up is smaller and smaller..''
Heh. I didn,t know Karin was french either, neat. I guess i'ill be playing some of her with Rashid.
Well yeah but the blonde fighter complaints stem from percieved diversity issues and Birdie is the last character you'd complain about in that sense.『Inaba Resident』;179189945 said:He has blonde hair.

Yo, every game they make.I didn't quite notice until a second before. I'mma say this: Capcom has always had a talent for shapely, voluptuous females, more than any other dev in the fighting game scene, easily. It's a lineage going way back to SFII vanilla.
It's a talent they seem keen to keep for SFV, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
She's Japanese tho....
Mika would've looked better w/ black hair and they've had brunette Vega before, so it's a weird directorial choice. Ono must be going through a phase.

Welp, shouldn't have believed the quote then :V
I assume the french translate was from a french version of the game?

She's like a single digit percent of a signle digit percent. So no.Probably not, but she represents the changing face of Japan's culture.
are you kiddingC.Viper
Juri
El fuerte
Hakan
Oni
No. And I mean personality, I know folks hate how Fuerte actually plays, but I like the guy and his food. But yeah no. She has the game director on her side, and thats the long and short of it.
Hakan is great. I don't understand the distate for 'freak' fighters when like all the cast does really goofy shit you'll see in the cartoons, as if SF is a grounded franchise with serious representation of fighting styles or something.are you kidding
Juri is the only one even remotely close to touching Mika. Hakan is a worse "freak" offender than the entire 3rd Strike cast but never gets called out on it; Oni is just another magic shoto; and Fuerte is dead last in the pantheon of Capcom wrestlers.

I agree that change would've been cool but the backlash for it would've also been way too real for NeoGAF to handle. Even though people change their hair all the time so Capcom could've justified it that way, such as how Bayonetta cropped her hair. Either way I still like her blonde. Hopefully her alt costume is with her hair down and in office attire and glasses. Instant sell for me if that becomes the case.
Ive always found it strange how japanese anime would rather have their characters look caucasian than look of asian descent.

I think the designs of the newcomers in SF4 were a mixed bag, but the reason people are OK with Hakan but call the 3S cast a bunch of freaks is context. When only a small chunk of the cast is weirdos, people are cool with it and it adds flavor to the game. When half the cast are weirdo, people like it less. Blanka was one monster dude in a cast of otherwise very human-looking fighters so it was cool.
Well that and Hakan is still within the themes of the original street fighter, ranting about the glory of turkish wrestling, while showcasing a strange representation of it. The 3rd strike cast are weirdos for sake of being weird.
He just trying to show you how to cook fam.I'll actually give you that Hakan has personality, but they f'd that up by making him a monster instead of a human being. Juri has some spunk to her, for sure (even if I think she looks kind of dumb). Fuerte is just ... ugh.
for me she's visually displeasing, and her visual sour me on every other aspect of her character.Mika is a tough girl who embraces being a tough girl, she's an entertainer, she's funny, she's goofy, she's hot, she's badass. She throws you against invisible ropes and her friend will drop kick you from nowhere.
.
You asked about oni, he's litterally a demon. That sounds comically simple, yep. I don't nee all that out of my characterss sometimes. Dude can Do demons in the air and has a move where he basically murders you . I love... LOVE the " the evil i taking over my body archetype" . Its part ofthe reason I like kazuya from tekken. What's Oni's personality? Eviler shoto guy who just mutters and moans? He and the other evil clones are probably the dullest characters ever, by default.

You've never seen a black person with natural blond hair before, eh?I'll give you everyone else but are you guys honestly counting Birdie as blonde? lol
So between Hakan and Necro, we're agreeing that Hakan's the bigger stereotype correct? Also true! Necro didn't scream Russian, etc.
Hell to the motherflippin' yes! We love you for that, Capcom.Yo, every game they make.
They understand.
I'm wondering if this means Sakura is in too.
Ken didn't speak English Hugo didn't belt out German. Pointless nitpicks. Also true! Necro didn't scream Russian, etc.

This I get because he was always a punk.I thought Birdie turning into a big fat slob who scratches his ass and throws banana skins and cans was a weird choice too.
Twelve isn't an actually realized character. More like something the animators wanted to do. Now they're bringing back piller men that wander around ancient ruins looking for magic powers. No they're not. And it's not simply about quotes. It's about keeping the idea that Street Fighter is a clash of cultures from all around the world. I mean, if you can't see the difference between why a character like Hugo ended up being brought back for SFxT three years ago and why Twelve is still in 3rd Strike, I can't help you.
No no no, that will be Effie's time to shineI'm sure Necro will be the the number one wanted character for Street Fighter 6 if history repeats itself so don't worry.

Uh, but 2/3 of those freaks are going to be now.Yeah exactly. Which is why those freaks weren't in SF4, I'm glad we're on the same page.
No no no, that will be Effie's time to shine

But you were talking about personality. You like the evil taking over archetype, but what separates his personality from the other characters that fall into that exact same schtick/cliche/trope? None of them have personality. It's basically whether you want a purple flash screen for your raging demon or a blue flash screen for your demon.
This I get because he was always a punk.
Two thirdsAre you implying two or three? or two-thirds?
