British actress Rachel Weisz will replace Jonell Elliot as the new voice of Lara Croft in Tomb Raider Legend, according to Playstation Magazine. Born on 7th March 1971, in London, England, Weisz (pronounced "Vice") has appeared in a string of blockbuster motion pictures including The Mummy, Enemy at the Gates, Constantine and more recently The Constant Gardener.

Playstation Magazine's latest Tomb Raider Legend cover injects optimism back into a franchise now preparing to deliver a seventh Lara Croft-helmed adventure care of U.S. developer Crystal Dynamics. Tomb Raider Legend will simultaneously release on all formats Q1 2006.

I would say, though, that PSM2 is hardly the most reliable magazine in the world - and the voice thing hasn't been properly announced yet (i.e. with a press release).
