Alot people hate on Kobe cause he used to KILL their teams in his prime so now that is not that good anymore they get to take shots at him.Why are people so salty about this? I'm pretty detached from the NBA, but don't people like Kobe? Why wouldn't anyone want him to do well on his last game?
Which is even worst considering the defense was pick up game at the park level. He almost shot 50% :0
Not to mention the Lakers franchise for the next 5 years. He has destroyed a lot of hopes and dreams.

His last play in the NBA was an assist.
We'll miss you Kobe. Greatest of all time.
He had a legal issue with sexual assault awhile back. Not sure if he did it or not but it was a bad look.
Maybe if it was an away game but it doesn't make sense in the staples center.Weak ass mic drop, you let that shit to not set it down gently.

They fed him the ball all game and let him score, zero defense, like an all-star game. Not impressed, completely manufactured game.
Yeah this seems to be it. Some of my co-workers were straight up saying that they don't care about a rapist. I don't recall there being clear cut evidence in that case and I don't think Kobe has had a history with sexual assault other than incident so it's funny how tarnished your reputation can become many years and years later w/o people even knowing the details about anything.

He hit 44% which is below average!
Also NBA sponge bath having Golden state as the second story behind Kobe.
Not to mention the Lakers franchise for the next 5 years.
Think it has way more to do with people hating Kobe for beating their team all these years
I'm sure there is some of that but let's be real here, Kobe hasn't been beating anybody in quite a long while.
Ohh yeah the Jazz willing did this
Man ... The salt levels are palpable
You got a named 6 other people who are also the greatest of all time as well. I don't understand what he needs to answer too when he's sitting with them lol.
The bent out of shape responses because Kobe is a guaranteed legend and is definitely one of the greats of all time. 💀
3-4 years is a lot less time than that old case only haters cling too lol
:lol
When was their last title? 2010? And if I recall even back then he wasn't really lighting it up either.
He had a legal issue with sexual assault awhile back. Not sure if he did it or not but it was a bad look.
You don't recal right. He lit it up with bum Dwight to make the playoffs too, but yeah. It's all totally an old court case nobody even remembers the details of.
It's not like the Jazz needed the win to make the playoffs or anything...
The Jazz willingly let him ???????? Didn't they need to win to be in ?
Edit : beaten
To be fair. Houston had already won. So they were out. Not that I believe they let this happen. The Jazz willingly let him ???????? Didn't they need to win to be in ?

This is where I fall on the man. I can't cheer for someone for like in life. Same thing with Ben Roethlisberger, Bill Cosby, etc.
Fuck the haters who want to diminish his legacy because he was broken down the past 3 years. You are the Smush Parkers of this message board.
As a guy who has been watching basketball for over 30 years I really can't remember a guy as entertaining as Kobe. As a Lakers fan I know how spoiled we have been to watch this guy play for the first 17 years. Even when we weren't good he was able to make the Lakers entertaining as hell and relevant. There was just something about Kobe that was hard to miss.
Top 3 Laker of all time. I rank them as follows.
1. Cedric Ceballos
2. Kobe Bryant
3. Magic Johnson
(Kareem was not a career Laker so he doesn't make the list, though he is one of the best players of all time).
Good luck in your next life Kobe. And that game last night was a trip. LA came through and gave him a proper send off.
Oh ok thanksTo be fair. Houston had already won. So they were out. Not that I believe they let this happen.

Lakers age anointed Ceballos a long time ago. We also consider him to be the best player of the 90s.You've been watching basketball for 30 years, and Cedric Ceballos is the greatest Laker?????!!!!!
First thought was "wow, awesome!". Seeing the stats though, 50 shots. smfh. Still, from his point of view, must have been about the best way to end his career that was realistically possible.
Also, LOL @ the idea that people hate Kobe because he "smashed their teams" like... 15 years ago. Talking about the Shaq and Kobe run. When they were really dominant and hate worthy. Probably has more to do with the whole rape thing and the fact that he's just not a very likeable guy.

Even he's changed since that incident and has never/will never do that again?
Kobe Pau never happened? Lmao

The tougher question is whether or not he is in the conversation of greatest human being ever. I am in that camp but I understand the arguments of those who will pick a Jesus or Einstein over him (though neither of those 2 ever dunked blind that I am aware of).
