Haven't watched the while thing but I thought it wasn't the outrageousness or controversy I'd expect from Gaga. It was way too safe overall.
Totally agree. Would've been perfect for some "FUCK TRUMP" controversy. What a missed opportunity.

Wow, same here. Cool touch.Did not realize those were drones until after the performance. Thought it was CG just for the television audience. That was super cool.
Projection. You're seeing what you want.No stage presence, clumsy choreo, singing lyrics in a weird accent, always looked uncomfortable except when sitting at the piano for Million Reasons.
I liked hearing old songs again but that's it. She should just retire and do jazz or equality speeches, her heart is not in show business anymore.
It was pretty good - Bruno Mars still holding the best modern title though.
Thisisneogaf.gifAt least it was better than Bruno Mars last year
her heart is not in show business anymore.
"(caught in a)" Bad Romance at the end a subtle commentary on Trump?
Just looking that up now, clearly it was!Singing Woodie Guthrie sure as fuck was
A Super Bowl half time show performed by Lady Gaga. What the hell did I just watch?

The jump stunt was kind of pointless, there was no establishing shot so it wasn't really clear where she was
It was important to appease the nationalist derps right there at the beginning so that the pro-LGBT line in Born This Way didn't make them flip their bowls of cheetos. The whole America thing at the beggining is so corny.
It's cool how she built her career on capitalizing off of gays and then delivered the most toothless perfomance of her career
(stolen from Archaix)
Oh yea...totally forgot about that complete non-event.
Her last top 10 hit was in 2013 (Applause), and last #1 hit was in 2011 (Born This Way).
Here's an article Wired did about those drones:

Not sure if others saw but apparently she got paid $0 to do it. :lol

None of the performers get paid anything to do the halftime show, do your research.
However, Gaga did have the largest budget for a haftime show ever with $ 10 million +
It's also the 2nd highest rated halftime show ever, only behind Katy Perry's which had about 1 million more viewers.
It also had more viewers than the game itself.

Aww, so aggressive for me literally reiterating a news story. Not surprised by her fans anymore tbh.
"Do your research" is aggressive... how exactly?
I'm just saying that you should check your facts before you post something shady, that is all. I would've said the same thing if this was Katy Perry or anybody else.
No matter the music, I'm always impressed by the logistical masterpiece that is the Super Bowl Halftime Show and this was no exception.
It was really mediocre and borderline bad. Like the singing was okay enough, but not great, and the choreo when she was in the air was SO BAD it was embarrassing. I'm like mind blown that people thought it was amazing???
Also I'm crying that anyone thought that jump was live.
Also again, before someone inevitably says it, I like Lady Gaga. I'm not a stan, but I like her.
