Totally agree. Would've been perfect for some "FUCK TRUMP" controversy. What a missed opportunity.

Did not realize those were drones until after the performance. Thought it was CG just for the television audience. That was super cool.

I thought she killed it.

Not sure I've ever seen a bad live performance from her though. Girl has a set of pipes and only sounded very slightly winded at the end.

The drone formations were absolutely mindblowing. Her performance was fantastic too. Quite crazy how she pulled all this off.

The jump stunt was kind of pointless, there was no establishing shot so it wasn't really clear where she was and the shot from her jumping to her dangling was too much of a physical disconnect to make it believable. Every action has an equal opposed reaction and yet there she was, perfectly still and composed doing her spidey dance having just jumped off a building!

Surprisingly good. She looked good too. It's been a long time since the last time I saw something good coming from her. Hope she finds her way back to success.

When you see mostly sky and a whole bunch of buildings in the background, it's pretty obvious that you're on top of something.

I'm sorry, is she required to give some 15 minute speech about gay rights when she was paid to sing her hit songs? She didn't edit her lyrics, they retain the same message as ever.

Statements like this are irrelevant. Beyonce's last number 1 hit was in 2008. Chart placements don't really hold much precedence if you're just a good artist and performer. Gaga earned the biggest music slot of the year, and she wrecked that stage like no other. That's all that needs to be said really.

None of the performers get paid anything to do the halftime show, do your research.
However, Gaga did have the largest budget for a haftime show ever with $ 10 million +
It's also the 2nd highest rated halftime show ever, only behind Katy Perry's which had about 1 million more viewers.
It also had more viewers than the game itself.

I'm just saying that you should check your facts before you post something shady, that is all. I would've said the same thing if this was Katy Perry or anybody else.

No matter the music, I'm always impressed by the logistical masterpiece that is the Super Bowl Halftime Show and this was no exception.

Also, I only posted it because like 90% of the posts in the actual superbowl thread seemed to think that performers did get paid and a lot of people were asking how much she got paid so I thought it informative to others.

Prince is still my favorite, with Bruno next. But this was way better than the crap Beyonce one, or last years especially. Katys was pretty good sounding, but she prob wasn't really singing during most of it?
