I've got a stack of fresh, unplayed PC games waist-high, yet all they can find time to talk about are console games and Second Life.

There haven't been any big PC releases lately, yet there has still be plenty of other stuff to talk about on other PC-related podcasts. I won't mention which one(s) since I don't intend to spark an argument or a rivalry, but there is stuff out there besides Second Life, COD4, L4D, and the Blizzard library.big_z said:i dont think sticking only to pc games will cut it with the lack of upcoming pc software and honestly i dont mind if they venture off into consoles or other stuff. however they should change up the games they talk about more. tina especially needs to put down the bong and explore the world outside of call of duty.
Any idea when the next one will be out? i'm interested to see what will change, if anything. At least people are still talking about it!

leave 1up yours to their mastabatory I'VE GOT GEARS! WHO ELSE HAS PLAYED GEARS?! sessions, while a pc gaming podcast should acknowledge that there's more to the platform than shiny new releases with 10 million dollar advertising budgets.
infact, games like coh and civilisation have the timeless longevity and intricate depth to fill entire podcasts on their own - with ease. this is par for the course in pc gaming.

SailorDaravon said:Weird, normally I'm fine with Alice on the other podcasts I've heard her on, but she just killed this one. Tina doesn't really bother as much as other people here, and her little Mario 1 music diddy indicates she obviously has some gaming knowledge outside of CoD4 and L4D, the problem is that she never fucking uses it. I love both of those games, but I'm tired of hearing about them every goddamn week, and any other contributions she has are mostly jokes about her being high. I wouldn't even mind so much if when they were brought up each week it was with some new story, like "I had this awesome game of L4D last night where I etc," but it's not even that. I feel really bad because Anthony was obviously trying really hard to bring it back, and they just weren't letting him. I'm sorry dude, but unsubscribing as well![]()
I'm sorry, but could you clue me in on exactly what you mean? Believe it or not, I still haven't finished listening to the podcast. Thing is, I've already listened to 1up yours at least twice over, as well as Giant Bombcast twice. I mean, I feel bad admitting this but it's true. Another thing, I don't really game on PC, but I can understand how people who do play on PC can be upset about the lack of PC game talk. I don't think they've even discussed the awesome looking Black Mesa: Source mod coming next year, at the least talk about the trailer. That mod alone makes me want to get a new PC for it. Believe me, my PC right now sucks. Who or what did Anthony seem upset at?BuRT! said:Anthony could hardly hold back his hatred toward the end

There are people who hated Shawn?Mrbob said:I think the main problem this podcast has is there is no one on it who generally loves pc games.
They may dabble with them from time to time, but no one wants to truly explore the uniqueness of games you can play on pc you can't get anywhere else.
Love or hate shawn, he usually brought some unique traits to the podcast because he generally loves pc gaming. You would get the popular PC talk on GFWradio, but he would bring some interesting things too like the realistic ww2 flight game that former pilots play, or the submarine game where you have to manually input your own coordinates. It was nice to hear about things you didn't get on all the other podcasts, but now this one just talks about the same things other podcasts have.....with worse detail.
