Lashana Lynch will be ‘introduced to Bond 25 audiences as the new 007

I might be a fucking moron for not understanding what you are trying to say in your jibberish sentences but at least I'm not a fucking cunt. I'm trying to have a normal conversation.
You know, I edited down my full post because I felt listing your logical contrivances that I've seen you use repeatedly in multiple threads was going in a bit too heavy.

It seems like you're out of logical contrivances to just dismiss arguments you don't like, and have just resorted to insults instead.

Look I don't know if the movie will be woke, but you can't deny that the promotional material was woke. It was basically saying its Bond for the MeToo era. We casted a STRANG WAMANZ lead who is the new 00. She will throw her tampon and doesn't care that she is fat. And Bond will get rejected by ladies because a suave ladies man is old hat.

Now it seems that the promotion of the movie is back tracking trying to damage control and changing the narrative from WAMANZ power, METOO, Bond is from a bygone era, Tampons and SLAY KWEEEN, to don't worry its still Bond, Craig is still Craig we didn't change anything.

They know that woke=broke and they are doing damage control because people have seen DF/CA/Ghostbusters etc all flop like my erection when naked Hillary shows up.

I don't see what the issue is, from the look of the trailer it seems like Bond faked his own death and went into hiding or something and they got a new agent to take the number 007. Now he is back and there are sparks between the new person and the old person blah blah same old tropes. I guess its "woke" because shes the first female 00 Agent they've shown? Moneypenny was a field agent about to be promoted to 00 in Skyfall, right?

I can't wait for the outrage thread on a certain site when this bombs in theatres like the ghostbusters and charlies angels remakes LOL!!! Like why mess with a good thing.

Daniel Craig has brought an amazing resurgence to the franchise being more action-oriented than as a spy. Spectre truly felt like a good legit end for him. I can't understand Daniel Craig reprising this role putting his character in a clearly secondary role unless they paid him so much to essentially assassinate the character on-screen.

What's going to happen if history is any example is Lashana will absolutely bomb and they will overreact for a sequel that includes somebody like Jason Mamoa who's an over the top barbarian rather than a spy because the studio thinks Lashana's bombing is a reaction to a misogynistic audience wanting a violent male on screen who dominates women. In reality James Bond fans just want James Bond shit...... good action, a hot chick, a fucking martini, a fucking fancy car, AND THAT'S ABOUT IT.

It's not like female bond hasn't been done before

Uh no, that’s Atomic Blonde. Calling her Bond is doing injustice to her character Lorraine Broughton. She’s a badass spy who fucks woman, she ain’t no Bond. I have absolutely no problem with that movie.
I have all the problems with instilling feminisms with existing franchise
Overcoming the female spy thing is a non-existent challenge. We've seen females overcome issues and cast as spies. Don't fool me by the reasons behind this casting.

The British press and woke leftists seem compelled to shower this unremarkable-looking woman with words such as sensational, stunning, fabulous, etc.
No doubt it's because she's an authentic black woman (no Euro style hair extensions), and that's really, really cool among today's diversity fetishists.

I think a lot of people would agree looks-wise she's nothing to write home about, but they know that having an unfavorable opinion about a black woman is likely to cause problems in today's climate.

There was a female 00 in TWINE, and I think there's another in one of the Connery/Moore movies. They have next to no screen-time though, and no speaking lines.

The fights are good (Charlize is always committed whatever she does though), but it's not the greatest story. Recommended to give it a watch though as she kicks ass.
I whole-heartedly agree with this sentiment and add that Charlize Theron always delivers in whatever I've seen her in.
Yes, I'm including Aeon Flux in that statement.

So bond retires and they give her the 007 number?

You would have hoped they did the ice hockey rule of retiring the number given he saved the world 22 times.

Feels like they could easily have introduced her as 003 or something and everyone would be fine about it, but someone with an agenda made wasn't settling for anything other than replacing bond.

People have opinions that might differ from yours? Anyway, all the focus on shit like someone's looks is superficial as hell; no matter who they put in these movies no normal person's got a chance in hell at banging them.

She's not my particular type either but I know for some people they might be, and who am I to tell them they're wrong because of my own subjective opinion?

The writer of the script is a 3rd-wave feminist, so that should probably tell you a lot.

She's black, she's a woman, oh what a coincidence lol

What a ridiculous time to live

But, I mean, if they had cast Jennifer Lawrence there will still be a discussion happening just from the other side. It’s like there’s no way to make everyone happy these days.

If it’s all male 00’s someone is mad

if it’s a white female 00 someone is mad

If it’s a black female 00 someone is mad

Let’s see how it goes

I watched the new trailer and so far it seems like a normal 007 movie? Seems like they are semi introducing her as the new 007 but looks like Daniel Craig is still the main star of this film. Maybe I am wrong?

If the next 007 film star Lashana Lynch I would not be interested in that but the current one seems fine.

We're talking about a “Bond girl” so the focus on looks isn't surprising.

trailer looked good, might be time to go watch a few older movies. unfortunately daniel craig is possibly one of the best bonds we've ever had but in some shit movies.

Is Atomic Blonde really that good? That’s multiple glowing recommendations now, from seemingly non-woke people. Kinda catching my eye.

Cracking film. Especially for one sequence that's shot as a 'one-take'. Try and watch it in 4k if you can.

Yeah, probably
The point is, I hate forced things, and in an era where every media HAS to introduce female, minority, gay /lesbian characters without a logical reason and only to please sjw, even 007 has given up to this trend

A woman reproving Bond is ridiculous

You bring innovation in old series by, well, inventing new things, and not making a black superman, a chinese Batman, a female overpowered as fuck jedi or Marvel superhero, a female 007, a female ghostbusters team, a gay character, and so on

Have at it. I don't care because I havent seen a new bond movie since casino royale and the only thing about that I liked was mads mikkelsen.

Bond started turned to shit with Timothy dalton, then it had a brief return with goldeneye, and then after that went back down hill in a variety of ways and never recovered. And anymore with Hollywood pandering to social trends I doubt I'll ever be interested in bond again.

It was the Pierce Brosnan era where I noticed the Bond films. I was too young to care about spy stuff during the 80's. I absolutely didn't care about any of the Brosnan films though as they were too over the top and there for didn't care about Bond. It was the Daniel Craig films that made me sit up and take notice, Casino Royale is brilliant and Quantum of Solace was at least entertaining.
Due to my new found interest in the character I went back and watched all of the Bond films a few years ago and I do agree with you on the Timothy Dalton comment, both his films and Brosnan's are the worst. Connery, Moore and Craig are all excellent, even good old Lazenby was great to watch.

As for this new "social pandering", if you are to take the article in the first page as the official source, it's not really an official source. People in this thread are trying to palm it off as "advertising" and "marketing material" but none of it has been advertising and never was, It's all been "insider sources" saying this and that, the author can twist words and misquote however they like to stir up controversy. There may never have been a source involved for all we know.

If there is any actual marketing material please correct me though.

*EDIT*
Even I got sucked in and got annoyed at the article to start with.

The trailer clearly had woke undertones, but it certinaly wasn't the focus. Whether that's a deliberate marketing decision or reflective of the overall composition of the movie remains to be seen. Daniel Craig has been an amazing James Bond, so I'm hoping it's a normal bond movie.

Woke undertones just because of the sentence "stay out of my lane"? Really?
You guys really do try and grasp at anything that can possibly be gasped.
It's a 2 and a half minute trailer with many many sentences spoke? But this one sentence is clinged to?

I honestly have no idea what else s meant to be woke in this trailer.
