I just started this maybe 2 weeks ago. I'm level 13. I really like Ahri even though it's not the easiest champion to play, and I do best with her.

I was playing with some friends yesterday, and had a decent game I thought. I was ahead in farm the whole game, and at one point kited 3 people from their base all the way back to mine after a bad team fight which I thought was pretty epic. Had one stupid death due to bad positioning, but I ended with 3 deaths and a handful of kills and assists.

After the game one of the guys on my team was like "That Ahri was terrible"... :( I understand it when I have a bad game but when I thought I played well it stings a little. At least I sort of knew the guy so I could talk with him after to figure out how I need to improve.

Having a lot of fun with this game so far, it's hooked me a lot more than HoN did, or anything in a long time.

Although it might hurt sometimes you shouldn't think too much about what other people are saying if it's not konstructive.

A lot of people just talk mess and don't really mean it. Just laugh it off, most of the time it's just funny.
 
If they aren't offering positive feedback, don't bother.

Did you play your role effectively? That's what matters most. KDA isn't as important. Yesterday we had a GAFfer with a 0/0/15 with 7 CS. A perfect support score, no one is going to rag on him for getting no kills.

The LoL community is awful, it's just full of trash talking for the sake of trash talking.

Once you get past the trash talking and learn to just either keep quiet or brush it off, you can really start to enjoy the game :)

Yeah. There are a lot of trash talkers just for the sake of talking trash. It's easy to ignore.

Most of the people at the low teens blind game level really have no place to talk anyways. It's a mess compared to the ranked games.

I found a LOT of smurfs in the low 1-9 level range but less as I level up into the teens. Probably a lot of guys starting smurf accounts then getting bored of the smurf account and going back to their main.

So many smurfs these days. I was playing a game earlier and everyone kept saying stuff like "i'm usually 1700 elo" and "fight me on my main, bro!" It was so pathetic that it was funny. I also found out that I could use the same Nasus code twice across servers :)

:D I had good support and jungler so that helped. I forget if you were the support or Graves. If you were Graves, just gotta work on that last hit. I was outpacing you with my items.

I think facing off vs his Vayne with my Cait would be fun.

That would be fun. I'm still fairly new to Vayne so I need the matchup experience more. I loathe Cait + Sorkara combo.

Really think Xerath is one of my favourite champions. And yes, my blue screen scores are back ;)

Although to be fair, some of those guys were quite silly.

EDIT: Ok I just checked and only Vayne was level 30, and he/she only had 130 odd wins. Either way, it's still a victory.

At any rate, sometimes you just need to take things people say with a grain of salt. Just wait until you start jungling and all three lanes are bitching at you for not babysitting 24/7 even though you have like 4 assists and 1 kill and have counter jungled their jungle into oblivion.

Because for some reason Fraps and f.lux clash and I can't be bothered to work out how to fix it.

I took teleport because I'm very rarely close enough to use ignite or exhaust during the game, especially if my team consists of mostly melee dps (as it did that game), so I like being able to have the ability to teleport to lanes/back to my lane in an emergency. I've saved many a tower with a well-timed teleport.

Teleport on Xerath can also open up the opportunity to roam more after you push the lane. I still usually just stick to Ignite though.

Yeah I think he was thinking that I was out of position in team fights, which is probably true as that sort of thing comes with a lot more experience. When I play with my more experienced friends on vent they tend to point out stuff like that mid-match which is a lot more helpful.

On the flip side, solo queue players can mute everyone and refuse to cooperate even easier now, and your warnings and pings won't help them at all, instead of barely helping them at all.

3 x Scaling MR Glyphs
2 x Arm Pen Quints

I'm Level 29 and this was all I could afford for my AD page.

Wow, they smacked a lot of champs. Funny thing riven looks outta place all the others that got smacked. Vayne I don't agree with either, but I guess they took a go at her since they smacked graves.

Also why reduce riven's base speed.. that one I don't get at all.

Not sure how Jax will be looking at the numbers. He is losing a lot of survivability, gaining a lot of damage. Looks kind of boring to play though. Skarner mana nerfs are going to hurt.

Yeah Skarner's mana problems are going to return now. It won't stop him from being played, but these numbers are kinda overkill (they are very close to the values they used to be before his mana-costs got adjusted to 15 at all ranks, which was the time when people were complaining about his mana- issues)

Ahri got off so lightly compared to other champs. These nerfs are not enough.

Frost (Passive) - Sejuani's basic attacks apply Frost, reducing enemy Movement Speed by 10% for 3 seconds.
Arctic Assault - Sejuani charges forward to deal magic damage and apply Frost to enemies. Sejuani stops upon colliding with an enemy champion.
Northern Winds - Sejuani summons an arctic storm around her which deals magic damage to nearby enemies every second. Damage is increased against enemies affected by Frost or Permafrost.

Overkill if you have Marks and you get Brutalizer etc?

Unlike magic resistant, armor stack with level, so its never an overkill. Unless most of the enemy team have over 150 armor, then you might as well get last whisper instead.

Not very.

Now with Skarner nerfed to the ground, this gives other junglers more playing room. Volibear is a potential candidate, with all of his damage (except W) buffed.

Then again Lee Sin is still king, so meh.

How dumb is it that every champion in the world gets nerfed but Kennen. I mean, c'mon.

^^^ Yup, I think dodge is now out of the game for good. Now get to work on removing crit. :E

Some of those nerfs are very nice (evem though I bought a couple of the ones getting hit hard during christmas...), but I really wish they focused on bigger issues such as buffing Eve to make her more of a valuable champion again or reworking Shaco's flash to stop him from being one of the few champions remaining that is truly not fun to play against.
