well thresh is ranged so he doesn't get the execute with relic shield which is why you're having trouble

if you max e first you get a bit more damage on your autoattacks so you can use that to last hit with a bit more room or you could just use flay on em

personally i'm not a big fan of relic shield on thresh and i tend to run coin (i start ruby crystal + pots), tho coin is bizarrely getting nerfed next patch so you might do ok by just trying to get better at relic shield

I'm convinced I had a Thresh support (admittedly, this was in silver), who SWORE that the execute on relic shield worked with Thresh.

Or maybe he just wanted the item anyway and I was confused?

I've played a fair bit of Thresh and it doesn't work You can still share all the monies you just need to be decent at last hitting!

You don't need to start with coin even if you intend to buy coin. You can start Doran's shield into coin or ruby crystal for a fast sightstone into coin.

The only difference in mine is I run full HP seals. I used to have gold/10 quints, but I recently switched those to armor. Everything is flat for me. No per level runes.

Yea I'll get a hankering to play Malph every so often. I feel like as long as you get your cs and don't feed, then you've done your job and can contribute to the team. I mean, it's great to get fed, but doing that as Malph is kinda hard unless your lane opponent is just giving up the kills.

So this just happened

I connected at around the 5 minutes mark and Malph hadn't shown up yet. I farmed my jungle and tried to catch up and pulled off a few good ganks and thought we were set. About 15 minutes in malph showed up with a SotD and 3 shots ziggs.

If they actually go through with that T-Force buff Corki is going to be Pick/Ban I think, especially if Trist, Kog and Lucian are all nerfed. He will have no problem benefitting fully from the 25% reduction in cooldown on T-Force procs with good usage of his ult and other spells, and he's already getting played in competitive play regularly. Irelia will be stronger too, but being melee it might be tough to make full use of the CD reduction outside of 1v1s.

Just in time for Worlds too. Corki's a smart guy.

thresh is weird cos everyone assumes he's melee since his weapon is short ranged

So the guy who leaked Lucian posted this on GD:

-Lot of stuff next PBE cycle including a little surprise and a skin for a female champion that people have been asking for since 2012
-No new Swain skins until he gets a VU
-Slam dunk Darius got pushed back because his voice over is a lot of work, but it's special
-Soraka is getting a harrowing skin if everything goes as planned
-Next champ is a male and will be on the PBE in 1-2 cycles
-The next champ to receive a victorious skin for this year hasn't quite been decided yet (there are some concept arts floating around though)
-Sion should be out before the end of the year but hopefully sooner than that
-Yasuo and Wukong have a skin in the works, probably out in a few months
-A Zac skin was in the works but it was shelved or scrapped
-An ultimate skin is probably being released this year "might be the best patch ever"

Some of this stuff has been speculated before, some just makes sense, but I believe there are enough specifics to make things interesting for people.

it could be nearly anyone. there have only been 3 female champions since 2012 and all the late 2012 women have recently gotten skins. [vi/nami/elise/diana/zyra]

so that leaves like 80% of the female cast. maybe half of them have gotten skins in the last two years, but thats still a pretty big group. cold reading op.

assuming it's true, my money would be on evelynn because it fits the skin curse.
