At this point, I am satisfied. Even if C9 loses the rest of its games, we've now shown that EU and US can take significant games off Korean and Chinese teams.
Last year it felt like children playing with adults; it wasn't just that the US was losing, it was that they were getting outclassed in every phase of the game. The gap is clearly being closed. It doesn't mean I expect the US to win worlds next year; it just means I can look forward to US/EU play in Worlds and not feel like they're all just waiting for Korean and Chinese teams to smash their faces in.

Well there's TF and Twitch as the casters have pointed out, so if done well they can counter Zed's splitpushing really easy.

Unfortunately Blue's team fight is a lot better.
1 second later would've meant a successful Baron/inhib dance from cloud 9. I appreciate hai's attempts, but he really needs to stop.

Well he hadn't appeared on the map in awhile so they must've been suspicious. Still, they would've had less time to make a sound decision.
Edit: well the split push is more of a back up plan. Like that's what you do when you get really behind.
